Here is a look at the top five Memphis-area high school football games for Week 10:

Game of the Week

Arlington (4-4, 0-2 7-6A) at Collierville (3-2, 2-0)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

The Collierville defense, led by Southern Miss commitment Ethan Hassler, has held all Tennessee opponents to 21 points or less. This week, the Dragons take on one of the area's best quarterbacks in Arlington's Zach Baker. The Tigers are averaging 27.3 points per game on offense, but have given up 28 or more five times. Collierville also has one of the top wide receiver recruits in the area in Scottie Alexander.

Thompson's Pick: Collierville 28, Arlington 21

Lausanne (5-1) at Houston (4-4)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Other than a close loss to ECS, Lausanne has won its games by a combined 94-7. But this week, it takes on Houston which beat ECS 48-10 earlier in the year. Barring any last minute additions to the schedule, Houston will be the only non-region opponent for Lausanne this year. Lausanne running back Craig Cunningham and Houston receiver Carson Goold are players to watch.

Thompson's Pick: Houston 35, Lausanne 28

Hernando (4-2, 3-0 MHSAA 1-6A) at Horn Lake (3-3, 3-1)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Hernando, which was 2-9 last year, has won four in a row and is the MHSAA 1-6A team besides Oxford without a region loss. The Tigers travel to Horn Lake, which had its three game winning streak snapped by Oxford last week. Horn Lake's Jarnorris Hopson has been stepping up big for the Eagles lately.

New coach:First-year coach Mitchell Harville has Horn Lake football moving in the right direction

The "Coach Prime" effect:Deion Sanders makes Horn Lake football recruits see Jackson State as destination

Thompson's Pick: Hernando 28, Horn Lake 14

St. Benedict (2-3, 0-1 DII-AAA West) at MUS (5-2, 1-2)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

MUS has a chance to extend its winning streak to three games. St. Benedict hasn't played since its Sept. 25 loss to Bartlett. There will be a pair of Power-5 recruits on the field in St. Benedict defensive lineman Walter Nolen (nation's No. 1 player for 2022) and MUS receiver Gavin McKay, a three-star Missouri commitment.

Thompson's Pick: MUS 35, St. Benedict 14

Munford (7-2) at ECS (5-2)

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Munford has won six of its last seven and has already clinched its region title as 8-5A has been reduced to two teams this season because Shelby County Schools isn't playing due to COVID. Defending DII-AA state champ ECS has lost two of its three games against public school opponents this year, but has shown that it can win close games. Three of the Eagles wins are by a touchdown or less.

Thompson's Pick: ECS 35, Munford 21

Last Week: 3-2

Season: 28-16 (.636)
