Signal Mountain High School will have to make more room in its trophy case following the Lady Eagles’ third straight Class A soccer championship in front of 500 fans on a cool sunny Monday afternoon at the Siegel Complex Stadium in Murfreesboro.
Signal Mountain defeated Merrol Hyde, 1-0, in the 74th minute on a shot from inside the box by Ava Duffey off an assist by Kinsley Lane.
The Lady Eagles’ Reilly Furr nailed down the shut out in goal, turning away 12 shots with six saves.
