Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

BY CY PETERS
The game started off pretty good for the Rangers; they scored the first two points of the game and stole the ball twice before Science Hill put on a shooting clinic. Nine players put points on the board in shooting their way to a 93-38 win. Unaka won the battle in time of possession, they had the ball
about 25 minutes of the 32 minute game.  It only took the Toppers four to five seconds to score once they grabbed a rebound or took possession of the ball. Coach Cutlip’s team was in tip top shape and ran their record to 3-0.
“We look at what we need to improve on, not the score” said Coach Aaron Dugger. We’re going to face a lot of tough teams and we’ll be out-sized in most of our games. Science Hill easily took a 32-14 first quarter lead and led 62-27 at the break. Coach Dugger played several of his younger players in the second half, Unaka has four games this week.
Will Sexton led the Rangers with 14 points, Landon Ramsey scored eight.
Keynan Cutlip was high scorer for the Hill with 22, Amare Redd followed with 15.
