Columbia's Cameron Johnson and Columbia Academy's Jaelyn Hickerson named Southern Middle Tennessee athletes of the week

Columbia's Cameron Johnson and Columbia Academy's Jaelyn Hickerson have been named the Week 4 Southern Middle Tennessee Athletes of the Week. 

Johnson received 53% of the vote for a total of 7,489 votes. There was a total of 14,101 votes cast in the boys' poll.

Hickerson received 75% of the vote for a total of 2,062 votes. There was a total of 2,736 votes cast in the girls' poll. 

Johnson had a team-high 21 points in the Lions 76-52 win over Valor Collegiate on Friday.

Hickerson finished with 34 total points in the Lady Bulldogs three games last week.
