Chattanooga Lands Total Of 12 Athletes On TSWA All-State Soccer Teams

GPS Leads With Five Honorees, Signal Mountain Has Three

Division II-AA state runner-up GPS led a contingent of 12 local selectees with five honorees on this year’s Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State girls soccer teams.

In Class 2A state runner-up East Hamilton was represented by senior goal keeper Darci Zeh and senior defender Kyhlia Lamb.

Class A three-time straight state champion Signal Mountain saw three seniors earn all-state honors. Keeper Reilly Furr, defender Hailey Ward and forward Briley Lowry were honorees.

Silverdale’s Grace Renegar, a junior forward, was the lone area selectee in Division II-A.

The Bruisers led a group of six picks in the Division II-AA category.
Joining Baylor’s junior forward Aliya Cooper, were GPS seniors Kaedra Thorstenson, a goal keeper; defender Hunter McVay, mid-fielder Sydney Morris, forward Ashley Grant and sophomore forward Kennedy Ball.
