LCHS swim team cruises to fifth win

Lenoir City High School’s Carly Wrobleski swims the 100-yard breaststroke March 13 in the Panthers’ 162-63 win over Roane County High School.

The Lenoir City High School swim team, which combines students from Lenoir City and Loudon high schools, picked up its fifth win of the regular season Saturday by defeating the Halls High School Red Devils 154-93.

“Everybody did great and from the last time talking, we said we were going to get back to work with some speed work,” Breanna Halsey, LCHS head swim coach, said. “I think we came into the meet with some of that speed work and some of that technique we’ve been working, so it was overall a great meet. It was very nice to go home with a win for the high-schoolers, especially because that’s normally a meet that we do not win.”
