A handful of Williamson County wrestlers were recognized by the Middle Tennessee Wrestling Officials Association this week with selection to its annual Dream Team.
Summit’s Jackson Masters, Page’s Mitchell Lambert and Centennial’s Alex Ables were all named to the Boys Dream Team, while Fairview coach Bubba Derrick was named the recipient of the Ralph Brewer Award as the Boys Coach of the Year.
Masters, a 120-pounder, paced the Spartans with a third-place showing at the Class AAA state tournament this year. Lambert, a 220-pounder, took fifth at state. The trio of wrestlers were all Region 7-AAA champions.
