The Baylor lacrosse team scored a win over rival McCallie Wednesday evening at Heywood Stadium. For the first time since they restarted their program in 2007, the Red Raiders defeated the Blue Tornado, 14-11.
Baylor (11-2, 4-1) came from behind to take the match after trailing McCallie (5-5, 1-4) 9-8 at the end of the third period.
The Red Raider’s Trey McDonald and Brody Listen led the charge with five goals each. McDonald added an assist. The two lead the state in goals scored. Matthew Mathias and Zachary Chari each scored three goals the Blues.
