The first six members of the Knox News All-PrepXtra girls swim team are nominees for girls swimmer of the year. The winner will be announced on June 28 at the fifth annual Knoxville High School Sports Awards presented by Farm Bureau Health Plans.
Anne Bellah

Event: 100-yard freestyle
Why chosen: Bellah placed seventh in the state in the 100 freestyle in 52.88.
Julia Burroughs

Why chosen: Burroughs finished second in the state in the 200 free (1:49.62) and second in the 500 free (4:57.22).
Abigail King
