USA Swimming released the roster for its 2020-2021 Scholastic All-America Team, and four Baylor Swim Club / Baylor School student-athletes were selected for this honor.
Making the Scholastic All–America team from Baylor is senior Charlie Han, junior Sam Flack, sophomore Drew Hitchcock and Baylor alumni Breanna Belcher. Ms. Belcher is currently a freshman swimming at Carson-Newman University located in Jefferson City.
The Scholastic All-America Team recognizes USA Swimming members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The honor is given to ninth-12th grade students who maintain a minimum 3.5-grade point average and have swum an individual pool time equal to or faster than the 2019 Winter Junior qualifying time in any individual event from Sept. 1, 2020 – Aug. 31.
“It is great to have more Academic accolades for these hardworking students in our program. I’m very pleased that once again we have several members of our team selected as Scholastic All Americans,” said Baylor Head Coach Dan Flack. “We have established a tradition with the Baylor swimming program of national excellence both in the water and in the classroom, and these fine student-athletes have now added to that tradition.”
