Vote now for The Jackson Sun's high school boys athlete of the week.

Fans may vote one time per hour. The poll ends at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Here are this week's candidates:

Austin Ketchum, Chester County: Ketchum shot a 76 in the District championship win and Chester County will be advancing to the regional tournament.. 

Colton Owen, Chester County: Owen scored a 79.

Evan Lee, Dyer County: Lee shot a 75 in the district tournament and will be advancing to the regional tournament individually.

Carrington Newell, Dyer County: Newell shot a 78 in the district tournament and will be advancing to the regional tournament individually.

Aden Hutcherson, Huntingdon: Hutcherson had 301 yards and seven touchdowns on 32 carries in the 66-33 win over Milan.

COMER GOT HIS GUY:Wade Comer waited for running back Marquez Taylor to get to McKenzie. He's glad he did.

MANNING IMPRESSES ON THE ROAD:Highlights from 5-star quarterback Arch Manning's performance against Country Day

Steele Haynes, USJ: Haynes had 123 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.

Marquez Taylor, McKenzie: Taylor had 210 yards rushing and three touchdowns on nine carries in the 54-7 win over West Carroll. 

Rashad McCreary, McKenzie:McCreary had 119 yards and a touchdown on three carries. 

Kaydin Pope, Hardin County: Pope had three catches for 116 yards and three touchdowns in the 45-0 win over McNairy Central.

Tyrik Pirtle, Jackson North Side: Pirtle had 88 yards and two touchdowns on two carries. He also had a 65-yard punt return for a touchdown. 

DeMahri Wallace, Jackson North Side: Wallace completed all three of his passes for 58 yards and one touchdown. He also had 76 yards and two touchdowns on three carries in the 28-0 win over Liberty Tech.
