Brett Wright lit up the scoreboard for five three-pointers Monday night at Grace Baptist to lead the Seahawks to a 67-52 win over the homestanding Golden Eagles. Wright would account for a total of 21 points with 14 coming in the second half.
Silverdale’s Kennedy Okpara would add 17 and Sam Bambrey 12 in the win. Grace’s Mason Long and Eli Ibrahim would score 17 each to pace the Eagles.
Silverdale girls 45, Grace 34: The Lady Seahawks’ Kennedy Stinson scored 12 points, all from long-range, to lead her team past Grace, 45-34.
Trailing by four at the end of the first quarter, Silverdale got on track in the second period and never looked back.
Kelsie Johnson added 10 for the Lady Seahawks, while Taylor Adams led the Lady Eagles with 10.
Central boys 57, Chattanooga Prep 45: Eli Gaines poured in 26 points for Chattanooga Prep, but it wasn’t enough to push the Sentinels past Central, as the Pounders took a 57-45 decision on their home court.
Matthew Sharpe led the Pounders with 24, while Ranye Watson added 13 points.
