Knox News All-PrepXtra girls and boys high school wrestling teams for 2022
The first six members of the Knox News All-PrepXtra boys and girls high school wrestling teams are nominees for the wrestler of the year. The winners will be announced at the Knoxville High School Sports Awards presented by Farm Bureau Health Plans of Tennessee. More details about the program coming soon.

First team
Andy Cable
Pigeon Forge, Jr.
Weight class: 126 pounds
Why chosen: Cable won the Class A state championship and finished the season with a 29-3 record.
Keyveon Roller
Lakeway Christian, Sr.
Weight class: 132 pounds
Why chosen: The Virginia signee won the Division II state championship by a 4-2 decision and finished the season with a 26-2 record.
Hunter Mason
Greeneville, Jr.
Weight class: 145 pounds
Why chosen: Mason won his third consecutive Class A state championship by technical fall. He finished the season with a 25-1 record.
Collin Dupill
Greeneville, Jr.
Weight class: 152 pounds
Why chosen: Dupill won the Class A state championship by a 26-12 major decision and finished with a 40-5 record.
Kodiak Cannedy
Greeneville, Sr.
Weight class: 170 pounds
Why chosen: The Arkansas signee won his fourth straight state title, winning the Class A championship by pinning his opponent in 0:54. He finished 32-2 for the season.

Why chosen: Williams earned his second state title, winning the Class A championship by pinning his opponent in 2:49. He finished the season with a 27-0 record.
