CLARKSVILLE, TN – Clarksville Academy Lady Cougars Basketball player, ShayAnn Conn, signed her letter of intent to continue her athletic career at University of South-Sewanee WBB program on May 11.
ShayAnn was a 2-year starter for the Lady Cougars and leaves as the winningest player in program history with 101 total wins in four years and winning at least 20 games every season.
She averaged 7.6ppg, 3.8rpg, and 1.5spg. Shot 40% (fg), 77% (ft), 33% (3pt). Shay was an All District regular season team member and All County selection.
“Every year as Shay’s role expanded, her production increased as well. Was the very best teammate any program and coach could ask for. She has been a great example for our players at working towards your goals and never quitting. Her best basketball is ahead of her because she has such strong work ethics and willingness to get better. Sewanee is getting a good player but even better person, teammate,” said Coach Clark.
