Lexington has hired Brad Dyer to be its next baseball coach.

Dyer, 51, replaces Adam Harrington who resigned from the position after 15 seasons, including 12 as the head coach with the Tigers.

Dyer, who is a Lexington native and alumnus of the school, was an assistant coach at USJ for the 2002 season before taking over as the head coach from 2003-13.

At the conclusion of the 2013 season, Dyer decided to take a break from coaching to spend more time with his family and teach at Decatur County Middle School.
