The TSSAA-mandated dead period ends Monday, and high school football teams across Tennessee will return to work preparing for the 2022 season that begins in August.

Clarksville-area programs participated in 7-on-7 tournaments on two dates last month, including Ravenwood's competition June 11. The tournaments have helped new coaches at West Creek, Montgomery Central and Northeast gain a better understanding of their rosters.

A second round of 7-on-7 competitions begin next week, and Montgomery County schools will be featured in several events, highlighted by two multi-team tournaments in Kentucky.

Here is a look at this month's 7-on-7 schedule.
