With the number 1 seed in the district, the Chester County High School Lady Eagles Soccer team played their first district game on Tuesday in the District Semifinals against the winner of South Side (fifth seed) and Hardin (fourth seed).
This follows a “W” over Adamsville last Tuesday with a score of 2-0 to close out the regular season.
Just like Head Coach Jason Judd said that evening, it was an emotional night.
It featured the Lady Eagles helping their teammate, senior Kristen Daniel get out of her wheelchair and kick the first kick of the game. Furthermore, it was senior night so they recognized her and Chyenne Webb. Ana Crowell is a senior player as well, but was unable to attend.
“It was great to have Kristen back out here with us,” Judd said. “That was a special moment for her and her family for sure. That was a pretty emotional game tonight.”
