Inman blasts Milan 9-0 in soccer
The Inman Middle School girls’ soccer team rolled to a 9-0 win over Milan on Monday at McNeill Park. Lady Bulldog Willow Phillips (right) plays the ball during the match with Milan. Evie Hayes hammered in three goals with McKennie Stone scoring two goals. Also scoring goals were Aliyna Jones, Kendall Capps, Sadie Thompson and Audrey Page. Capps and Jones had two assists each. The Lady Bulldogs also got assists from Stone, Etta Jo Bean, Addalon Davis and Lylah Rhodes. Inman is now 6-4-1 on the season. The Lady Bulldogs played Henry County on Tuesday night and will close the regular season at home at 5:30 p.m. Thursday against Jackson Christian School. The area tournament is set to begin on Monday at Dyersburg.
