Wildcats move into Round 2 of playoffs with win against Rhea County

The Oak Ridge High School Wildcats beat Rhea County last Friday night in the first round of the TSSAA high school football playoffs. Oak Ridge beat Rhea by a score of 36 to 17.

Jai Hundley rushed nine times for 149 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Wildcat Elijah Rogers had three catches for 93 yards and one touchdown.

Moving onto Round 2 of the playoffs, the Wildcats will play against McMinn County at McMinn County High School in Athens, Tennessee this coming Friday. Tickets can be purchased in advance at https://gofan.co/app/events/773802 for $8 or at the game for $10 each, according to ORHS Athletics on Twitter.
