CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Rossview High Athletics held their first signing ceremony for the 2022-23 school year on Monday.

Rice has committed to pitch for Clarksville’s very own Austin Peay State University under first-year head coach Roland Fanning. Meanwhile, Shirk has committed to play for Maryville College under head coach Clint Helton.

Rice mentioned that the event was something that the two had always dreamed about. He said it felt right to sign with one of his best friends by his side as they shared that special moment together.

Rice and Shirk will get one last chance to play together this upcoming season for the Hawks baseball team. Rossview High will look to build off a season where they finished 20-13 and lost in a sectional matchup against top-ranked Houston High School.
