Unaka 60, Coalfield 35 (boys)
The Rangers hit the gas early and never looked back.
Unaka raced out to a 32-12 lead at the half and rolled to a win.
Landon Ramsey had 19 points to lead the way for Unaka, while Joe-Z Blamo added 16 points.
Johnny Douglas finished with nine points.
Farragut 75, Hampton 55 (boys)
The Admirals used a big third quarter to get some separation and then held on to defeat the Bulldogs on the final day of the Maryville Christmas Classic.
A back-and-forth first quarter saw Farragut hold a slim 19-16 lead after eight minutes of play, and the Admirals pushed the advantage to nine at the break.
Hampton continued to fight and battle, but was unable to cut into the Farragut lead in the second half.
Cadon Buckles had 21 points. Hayden Campbell had 14 points, while Ty McElyea and Michael Anspaugh had seven points apiece.
Chance Point tallied six rebounds and four assists.
Cincinnati Country Day 62, Elizabethton 44 (boys)
The Cyclones came up short on the final day of the King of the Smokies tournament in Pigeon Forge.
Elizabethton battled the entire game but was unable to mount a late rally against the Nighthawks.
Hampton 74, Cosby 44 (girls)
The Lady Bulldogs claimed the Chic-Fil-A Classic on their home court with a dominant win over Cosby.
Hampton remains undefeated on the season.
After the teams traded shots in the first quarter, the Lady Bulldogs hit the gas and rolled to a 36-16 lead at the half.
From there, it was all Hampton.
Macy Henry had 21 points, while Taylor Berry had 15 points. Linsey Jenkins tallied 14 points.
Coalfield 63, Unaka 46 (girls)
The Lady Rangers were unable to keep pace with a persistent Coalfield offensive attack on Thursday.
Lyndie Ramsey had 37 points to lead the way for the Lady Rangers. Jill Faust, Alisha Harrell, and Haley Taylor had three points apiece.
Alcoa 75, Elizabethton 69 (girls)
The Lady Cyclones dropped a hard-fought game in the Andrew Johnson Bank Classic in Greeneville.
It was a back-and-forth battle from the opening tip as Alcoa held a slim 15-13 lead after a quarter of play and pushed the advantage to 29-22 at the break.
In the third quarter, the Lady Cyclones battled back and trailed 51-48 after three complete quarters.
The teams went back and forth in the final eight minutes, but Elizabethton was unable to get the lead in the closing seconds.
Renna Lane finished with 24 points to pace the Orange and Black, while Lina Lyon had 22 points.
