According to a press release from Elizabethton High School, Carley Williams will serve as the new Head Volleyball Coach at EHS.
Currently, Williams is in the Masters of Education program at Emory & Henry and just finished her fifth year playing NCAA DII volleyball. She has coaching experience at Tennessee High School for one year and three years as a head coach for Tri-Cities Extreme Volleyball Club.
“I am passionate about coaching because of my love for volleyball and desire to teach others,” said Williams. “I want to help others succeed, not only in sports but throughout every aspect of life.”  Williams continued, “Coaching allows me the opportunity to motivate others, share my knowledge and be a positive mentor in athletes’ lives.”
“I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve as the head coach for Elizabethton High School. I am excited to work with Elizabethton athletes and anticipate a great season in the fall, said Williams.”  “Go Cyclones!”
Elizabethton’s volleyball season will kick off in August.
