Clinton 3-star safety D'Mon Marable has committed to Purdue football.

"Committed!!," Marable wrote Monday on Twitter.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound junior is the No. 6 player in the state and No. 40 safety in the country, according to 247Sports. He chose the Boilermakers over Ole Miss, Louisville, Colorado, Minnesota, and Boston College.

“Basically, it's like a family," Marable told 247Sports. "I ain't been nowhere else where they did what they did when I first came in like I had my whole team with me. And the whole staff was there. When I first came to walk through the door the whole staff shook me and my teammates hands. And I have never been somewhere where they did that,” Marable said to Boiler Sports Report and 247Sports about his commitment to Purdue. “Second off their defense is somewhere I will be successful in.”
