It was all Hampton on Friday night.
The Bulldogs scored on the opening kickoff and never looked back as the Bulldogs stormed to a 69-28 win over Cumberland Gap.
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 3-2 on the year and 2-0 in Region 1-2A play.
Hampton hit the gas pedal from the start.
Dom Burleson took the opening kickoff to the house for an 83-yard touchdown return to give Hampton an early lead.
The Bulldogs added a 57-yard touchdown from Peyton Townsend on the next drive to push the lead out.
The Bulldogs continued to roll as JJ. McElyea added a defensive score on a pick six, and Hampton pushed the lead to 29-7 after a quarter of play.
From there, it was all Hampton.
The Bulldogs scored 20 points in the second quarter to take a 49-14 halftime lead, and maintained a 69-21 lead early in the fourth.
Dylan Trivett finished 7-of-9 passing for 124 yards and three touchdowns for Hampton.
The Bulldogs are set to travel to Cloudland for a nonconference clash next Friday night.
