No. 10 Kentucky will host No. 5 Tennessee in a conference rivalry clash on Saturday night in Lexington’s Rupp Arena. While the Vols will get the Wildcats at home later in the regular-season finale in March, the Vols will have a tough challenge ahead this week. Both teams are looking to prevent a two-game losing streak with a win over the other on Saturday.

Tennessee dropped a game to South Carolina in Knoxville this week while Kentucky fell to Florida in Lexington the day after. It seems as though both units may have been looking ahead during their mid-week game but don’t have to wait much longer.

Tennessee has lost their last two games in Rupp Arena but are 2-2 against the Wildcats in their last four games altogether.

Ahead of the game coming up this weekend, Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes and guard Jahmai Mashack met with the media in Knoxville on Friday to preview the rivalry game. Barnes spoke about Kentucky’s high-scoring offense while Mashack spoke about the defensive mindset that it takes to play your best against a team like Kentucky.

The Vols and the Wildcats will square off at 8:30 p.m. ET this Saturday night. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
