“This team have been battle tested all year. We have played teams from all over the south the past two years for this moment. I am so happy for our guys, but we have bigger goals than just making it there. We have now beat the number one team in the state and the number two team in the state. We are peaking at the right time, and we will be ready come Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. We would love for the city to get behind this team and show up in Murfreesboro.”

The Hawks enter the state tournament with a record of 24-9 and are scheduled to take on Morristown East (29-8) during the opening round of competition, according to the TSSAA official website. The game is set for Wednesday, March 12 with tipoff set at 12:45 p.m. at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
