The Trousdale County High School softball team has its season underway, and they posted an impressive 17-0 win at Red Boiling Springs on Monday. The Lady Jackets put up 10 runs in the first inning, five in the second, and two more in the third to end the game in three innings.

Senior Taren Simmons went three for four at the plate to drive in five runs and score two runs. Emma Holder, Cayden Ray and Presley Clark each added three hits. Maddie Lee, Kayleigh Dunn and Aubrie Wemple rounded out the hits with one apiece.

Lee threw a no hitter, as she struck out six batters while giving up two walks.

The Trousdale County girls have now won the last seven meetings with the Lady Bulldogs.
