BLUFF CITY — It took extra innings, but the West Ridge baseball team left Sullivan East with its first winning streak of the season.
The Wolves scored two runs in the seventh to tie the game then won it 4-3 in the ninth.
Morgan Ward’s one-out RBI single drove in Kade Oliver for the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth. It was Oliver’s third run, including the tying run in the seventh. Oliver, Ward and Alex Ireson all had two hits, including a Ward double.
Reed White got the win after giving up one hit over the last four frames.
Avery McCoy and Kaden Hicks each had two hits for the Patriots.
Dobyns-Bennett 10, Virginia High 0
KINGSPORT — Tegan Begley doubled twice and scored twice to lead the Tribe. Maddox Martin doubled in a pair of runs, and Andrew Reilly batted in two and scored two.
J.T. Robinson started and got the win, allowing just one hit over the first two frames.
Volunteer 7, Maryville Christian 5
CLINTON — Austin Williams led off the seventh with a double, eventually scoring the go-ahead run for the Falcons. It was Williams’ third run of the game.
Anthony Blasini drove in two, and Luke Armstrong went the distance on the mound. He struck out six and gave up four earned runs.

CLINTON — Harrison Shelton went 3-for-4 with a home run to lead the Dragons, who scored eight runs between the third and fourth innings.
Brycen Feagins and Isaiah Bowery each went 2-for-3 for Volunteer. Connor Haynes and Bowery doubled.

NEWPORT — Jake Elliott went 2-for-4, and he and Cole Putnal doubled and drove in two runs apiece to lead the Chiefs, who scored six runs over the last three frames to pull away.
Gage Adkins got the win, striking out two and walking four over the first three innings. Noah Hunter and Gavin Housewright combined on the shutout.
Dylan Webb had three hits for Cocke County, which committed seven errors.
Lebanon 11, Daniel Boone 6
GRAY — Chance Parker tied the game with a three-run homer in the seventh and added a two-run shot in the eighth.
Luke Garrett doubled twice, and Eli Breeding added two hits. Isaac Godsey pitched the last 3 2/3 innings to get the win.
Tim McGonigle went 3-for-4 with three runs scored to lead the Trailblazers. Chandler Justice and Ethan Roller had two hits each.
Lakeway Christian 11, Gate City 4
WHITE PINE — Bryson Bartley smacked a two-run triple, and Eric Lasso, Elijah Henry, Jed Bates and Chase Gockenbach had two hits each for Lakeway.
Ethan Dingus and Hayden Wilson doubled for Gate City.

CLINTWOOD — Landon Odum tossed the five-inning shutout, striking out six and allowing only one hit. On offense, he went 2-for-3 with a triple, scoring three runs and driving in two.
Palmer Gobble was 2-for-3, and Porter Gobble and Casey Rector both doubled for the Trojans.

DAMASCUS — Caleb Casey struck out eight and pitched a three-hit shutout for the Cavaliers. Noah Tweed went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Kalub Mullins fanned eight batters over the first 4 1/3 innings for the Titans, but Holston scored nine runs in the fifth.
Cumberland Gap 15, Thomas Walker 3
EWING — Asher Hatfield went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Panthers, and Tate Murphy and Ethen Powell added two hits apiece.
Hunter Collins doubled in a run in a two-RBI day for Thomas Walker.

NORTON — Sophie Fleming finished just a triple shy of the cycle, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored for Wise Central.
Kaelyn Dales doubled twice for the Lady Warriors. Macie Gibson went 3-for-3, and Sophie Carter Hannah Salyer and Abby Potter had two hits each.
Salyer fanned three in the no-hitter.
Union 11, Harlan (Ky.) 5
HARLAN, Ky. — Kaylee Rutherford broke a 5-5 tie with a three-run double in the top of the eighth.
Kylee Castle, Aliyah Davidson and Addison Toney then drove in three more runs for the Lady Bears. Davidson got the win in relief.

BRISTOL, Va. — Taylor Childress struck out 12 and walked just two to get the four-hit win.
Eden Wallace went 2-for-3 with a home run, Madison Bowery had two hits, and Keeley Smith and Hannah Lockhart doubled.
Caiti Hill went 2-for-3 with a triple to lead Ridgeview.
Abingdon 10, Lee High 5
BEN HUR — Hailey Branscomb clubbed a triple and a home run, and Mariah Branscomb went 3-for-3 with a double to lead Abingdon.
The latter also got the win in relief, striking out two in five hitless innings.
Gracie Garrett had two hits and two RBIs for the Lady Generals.

JOHNSON CITY — Trailing 2-1, the Lady Falcons pushed across seven runs in the third inning.
Haley Russell plated three runs and went 3-for-4. Abby Fisher and Sydney New each added a double and a single, and Rylee Smith and Timber McLain each went 2-for-3.
Elise Bous struck out five in tossing a three-hitter.
Natalie Collins and Raquel Del Prete singled and scored for the Lady Patriots.

JOHNSON CITY — Payton Moore’s solo home run in the third inning broke a 4-4 deadlock, and she finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored.

NORTON — Four players scored to lift the Blue Devils to victory.
Tanner Fleming scored one goal and assisted another. Garrett McLain, Walker Hillman and Alex Eastman all found the back of the net, and Sam Casteel had one assist.
Bryson Smith made five saves to get the win in goal.
