BLUFF CITY — Only a walk separated Daniel Boone pitcher Kaylea Osborne from a perfect game Monday night.
Osborne otherwise struck out 18 batters, helping the Lady Trailblazers shut out Sullivan East 6-0 on the road.
Kyleigh Bacon’s RBI single began a three-run first inning, and Boone added insurance in the last three frames. Anna Richardson (2-for-4) and Ava Saul both doubled, and Riley Croley scored three times.

BRISTOL, Tenn. — Isabel Meeks pitched a complete game for the Lady Hilltoppers, striking out 10 batters.
Maddie Diamond hit a first-inning, three-run homer that proved to be the difference.
Addie Wilhoit hit a solo home run for the Lady Vikings.
West Ridge 12, Cherokee 0
BLOUNTVILLE — Caydence Spears and Miranda Hensley combined for seven strikeouts and a one-hit effort for the Lady Wolves.
Victoria Browder went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs. Kami Clark and Lily Frazier both went 2-for-3, and Spears doubled.

ROGERSVILLE — Keaton Lawson tossed a complete game for the Chiefs, allowing just one unearned run.
Cole Putnal went 2-for-2 with a solo home run.
Connor Haynes did it all for the Falcons, pitching the entire way, while also hitting two singles, walking twice, and stealing three bases.
Gate City 8, Union 1
BIG STONE GAP — Tied 1-1, Brayden Cox led off the top of the third with a home run, and Gate City led the rest of the game. Eli McMurray, Cox, Dakoda McMurray (double) and Caleb Bumgarner (double) all had two hits for the Blue Devils.
Jackson Jones struck out five to get the complete-game win.
Eli Pleasant and Sam Whitman (double) both had two hits for the Bears.
Eastside 20, Holston 5
HOLSTON — Christopher Steele had four hits and four RBIs for the Spartans.
Clay Ward hit a pair of doubles, as well as drove in four and scored three times.
Steele also tossed four innings on the mound, striking out five and only walking two.
Tennessee High 2, Unicoi County 1
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Cooper Harris hit an RBI triple in the sixth inning for the Vikings to eventually win the game.
Kaleb Feathers threw a complete game, only allowing one free pass while punching out 10 hitters.
Chris Chavez had a two-hit game for the Blue Devils.
Elizabethton 5, David Crockett 4
ELIZABETHTON — Bryson Rowland had two hits and a run scored out of the leadoff spot for the Cyclones.
Rhett Slagle added a single and a pair of RBIs.
Kaiden Easterling hit a two-run double in the seventh to help the Pioneers’ attempted comeback.

Volunteer 1, West Greene 0
CHURCH HILL — Shawn Cole scored the winning goal from more than 40 yards away, on a ball that squibbed out after a misplayed corner kick. Cole’s winner came with 10 minutes in the match.
Jackson McLain got the shutout in goal, and coach Jeff Lukens credited the back line of DeShawn Booker, Garron Barnette, Nolan Amyx and Cole. Peyton Castle, Evan Lukens and Cameron Cox controlled the offensive end.
Union 3, John S. Battle 1
BRISTOL, Va. — Brayden Wharton scored twice, and Ean Schenck accounted for the other as Union prevailed on the road. Camden Wharton and Reyshawn Anderson dished out one assist each, while Keyshawn Anderson made eight saves in goal.

BLUFF CITY — Caleb Mason scored twice to lead the Trailblazers to a road victory. Tyler Zapeda, Angel Congoren and Josh Ramirez each had one goal.
