Greeneville star Kyla Jobe commits to Tennessee softball

Greeneville junior Kyla Jobe announced her commitment to Tennessee softball on social media. 

"Home Sweet Home!" she wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "... So proud to be a Lady Vol!"

Jobe has a .615 batting average, a .656 on-base percentage,18 stolen bases, 32 runs scored, 13 RBIs, 11 doubles and three home runs this season.  

She is also a standout for Greeneville basketball and volleyball. On the basketball court, she led the team to the state tournament and averaged a team-high 15.1 points per game. 

In Jobe's announcement post, she included a statement that playing for the Lady Vols is a dream come true along with thanking the people who have helped her up to this point. 

"I am so grateful for my teammates, across all of my sports in both school and travel," she wrote. "It's been an amazing ride and I continue to learn from each of you!"

Jobe is the second player in the Knoxville area to commit to Lady Vols softball, joining Farragut junior Elsa Morrison.
