The Oak Ridge High School Wildcat and Lady Wildcat tennis teams battled two Farragut teams led by Riley Cassity Thursday night, April 11, at the Jackson Square Tennis Facility in Oak Ridge.

As a Lady Admiral, Riley has won two AA state singles championships and in her senior year at Farragut seeks to "three-peat" at the annual spring tourney hosted in Murfreesboro by the TSSAA.

The Farragut boys team has had recent success too, winning TSSAA's District 4 team title in 2021.

"The high level of competition brought out the best in our players," said Oak Ridge coach David Bowman. "The set scores weren't indicative of how hard players like Ben Mugnier and Lily Shelton played in their singles matches. I saw quality 'thoughtful' points crafted by both of them during their play, some of their best of the young season."
