Lady Patriots honored at team banquet
The Henry County High School Lady Patriots basketball team capped its season with the annual team banquet recently. Coach Cliff Curd presented awards to the following players (from left): Bayleigh Thompson, senior award, team captain, academic award, Team Leader award for points and rebounds, Team First award and Buddy Wiggleton Coaches Award; Irelynn Beecham, Team Leader award for highest 3-point percentage and highest free throw percentage; Fajona Sneed, senior award; Noe Wilkerson, senior award, team captain; and Breely Peirpoint, Team Leader award in deflections and Team First award. Also honored but not pictured were Na’Kiyah Moore, Team Leader award in field goal percentage and Team First award; and Olivia Kendall, Team Leader award in charges taken and assists and Team First award.
