KINGSPORT — Another day, another walk-off win for Dobyns-Bennett’s baseball team.
This one didn’t even require a hit. With Cam Hayworth up to bat, Andrew Reilly scored from third on a two-out error, lifting the Indians over Unicoi County 10-9 at J. Fred Johnson Stadium Friday night.
The Indians trailed 9-2 in the fourth inning before Tegan Begley (triple), Jackson Bishop and Mason Kerkhoff drove in runs during the fifth. Reilly’s double and a Begley single helped D-B pull even in the sixth.
Begley went 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Reilly tripled, doubled and scored four times, while Kerkhoff went 2-for-4.
Cade Maynor got the win in relief, striking out three in the last three scoreless frames.
Tanner Berry hit a three-run homer for the Blue Devils, who got a double from Gavin Tipton and a 2-for-4, 2-RBI effort from Reid Bogart.
West Ridge 10, David Crockett 8
JONESBOROUGH — Brayden Barr went 2-for-3 with a two-run blast to lead the Wolves. Kade Oliver (2 RBIs), Morgan Ward and Alex Ireson (2 RBIs) added two hits apiece for the Wolves. Ireson, Peyton Maines and Ryker Hann (2 RBIs) all doubled.
Maines went 5 1/3 innings for the win, scattering three hits.
A.J. Ford and Jake Fox both doubled for the Pioneers, who got two RBIs from Nate Walters and Kaiden Easterling.
Castlewood 6, Twin Springs 0
CASTLEWOOD — Jared Glovier went 5 1/3 innings and struck out eight before Aden Phillips fanned four the rest of the way in a combined no-hitter.
The Blue Devils scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back, with Cayden Dishman doing 2-for-3 and Xavier Sanders batting in two runs.
Eastside 18, Rye Cove 0
COEBURN — Clay Ward doubled and tripled as well as drove in three runs for the Spartans.
In total, six different Spartans had multi-hit games in support of a two-hit shutout thrown by Keldan Hamilton. Will Rollins hit a double for the War Eagles.
J.I. Burton 14, Thomas Walker 4NORTON — Miguel Madrigal had a pair of extra-base hits, including a triple, as well as three runs scored and two RBIs for the Raiders.
Brandon Edwards hit 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Clay Cheek singled, walked, stole two bases and scored two runs for the Pioneers.
Volunteer 10, Coalfield 6
GREENEVILLE — Connor Haynes, Austin Williams and Gavin Hickernell recorded two hits apiece for the Falcons, while Anthony Blasini double and drove in three runs.
Hickernell also got the win, striking out nine in six innings of work.
T.C. Roberson (N.C.) 9, Science Hill 5
JOHNSON CITY — T.C. Roberson scored eight runs in the final two innings to pull away from the Hilltoppers. Reno Jeter broke a 2-2 tie with his three-run homer, and Micah Simpson went 2-for-3.
Caden Wells hit 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Science Hill. Josh Marmo drove in one run himself and scored twice while hitting a triple and a double.

West Ridge 7, Morristown East 0
GREENEVILLE — Victoria Browder pitched a two-hitter for the Lady Wolves, striking out seven to open the Tiny Day-Red Edmonds Tournament.
Kami Clark went 3-for-3 and scored twice, while Lacey Fugate hit a two-run bomb to lead the offense. Natalie Moore (double), Browder and Fugate had two hits each.
West Ridge 11, South Greene 0
GREENEVILLE — Lily Frazier doubled twice and finished 3-for-3, driving in four runs for the Lady Wolves. Savannah Pogue went 3-for-3 herself, while Victoria Browder and Nila Horne both hit 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.
Browder also fanned six batters in the one-hit win.
Greeneville 5, West Ridge 1
GREENEVILLE — Kyla Jobe hit a solo home run, and Lauren Million went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Lady Greene Devils. Jamie Jackson scattered four hits in the circle.
Victoria Browder singled and drove in West Ridge’s lone run.
Volunteer 10, Chuckey-Doak 2
GREENEVILLE — Zetta Smith (double) and Sydney New (2 RBIs) both collected two hits for the Lady Falcons. Abby Fisher, Rylee Smith and Jayden Ford drove in two runs apiece.
Hadley Spears fanned three in her four-hit win.
Hailey Foshie homered, and Saniah Atchison doubled for Chuckey-Doak.
South Greene 5, Volunteer 3
GREENEVILLE — Kaylee Whitson’s three-run double in the fourth inning put the Lady Rebels ahead for good. She also went the distance to get the seven-hit win. Whitney Reaves and Reagan Arrowood both hit 2-for-3.
Addyson Fisher hit a solo home run for Volunteer, which got two doubles and two RBIs from Bryleigh Salyer.
Sullivan East 14, Chuckey-Doak 2
GREENEVILLE — Brooklyne Loudy went 3-for-4 with a double and drove in four runs for the Lady Patriots. Shelbie Leffew doubled twice with Kyndl Hodge, Raquel Del Prete and Carly Bradford adding two hits apiece.
Del Prete struck out four to get the complete-game win.
Saniah Atchison hit 2-for-3 with a double, and Hayleigh Taylor tripled for Chuckey-Doak.
Sullivan East 6, Morristown East 4
GREENEVILLE — Olivia Ashbrook drove in the go-ahead run with her fifth-inning double for Sullivan East. Jade Sanders had two hits, and Shelbie Leffew scored twice. Raquel Del Prete recorded her second win of the day.
Jaycee Hamilton went 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored for MoEast.

ROGERSVILLE — Shelby Helton went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs for the Lady Chiefs, who got four RBIs from Campbell Owen. Rachel Young (2-for-4), Kaylee Cinnamon, Kennedy Dishner (2-for-2) and Kasie Bowman drove in two runs each.
Dishner scattered two hits and fanned four over the first four innings.
Castlewood 2, Twin Springs 0
CASTLEWOOD — Anna Summers not only struck out eight while pitching a one-hit shutout. But she provided Castlewood’s only runs with a two-run blast in the third inning. She finished 2-for-3.
Mackenzie Gillenwater struck out 10 in her complete-game effort for Twin Springs, while collecting her team’s only hit.

NORTON — Jordan Mooney struck out nine and pitched a no-hitter, helping her cause by driving in five runs. She went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run.
Jordan Mullins (2 runs) and Jordan Bohnert (2 RBIs) added two hits apiece.

GATE CITY — Walker Hillman’s goal proved to be the difference. That, and nine saves for Bryson Smith in his sixth clean sheet.
Union 5, John S. Battle 1
BIG STONE GAP — Brayden Wharton completed the hat trick and assisted another goal for Union in its Mountain 7 victory. Reyshawn Anderson had one goal and assisted another, while Josh Guerrant scored once himself.
Keyshawn Anderson made eight saves to get the win in goal.
Benjamin Hardoby had the lone goal for the Trojans.
GIRLS SOCCER
Abingdon 3, Gate City 2
GATE CITY — Nebraska Nuckels and Isabella Hartsock both scored for the Lady Blue Devils, with Abigail Tate assisting one of them. Avery Elam made seven saves on goal.
Elizabeth Nichols, Mary Hitch and Ella Seymore accounted for Abingdon’s goals.
John S. Battle 4, Union 0
BIG STONE GAP — Claire Booher found the back of the net twice for Battle. Ava Wallace and Adyson Halloway accounted for the rest of the scoring.
