CLARKSVILLE TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Imari Berry, a McDonald’s All-American, a Miss Basketball Award winner and Clarksville High’s all-time leading scorer, announced Saturday she’s going to the University of Louisville.

She had pledged to Clemson but backed out after they parted ways with their head coach. She’s now landed with the Louisville Cardinals, picking them over Kentucky and North Carolina, according to 24/7 Sports.

Berry, who is a five-star recruit and 13th ranked player in the class of 2024, previously received scholarships from schools such as UConn, Tennessee University and other power five programs in the country.
