Tennessee Football head coach Josh Heupel and WR coach Kelsey Pope weren’t the only ones fired up about landing a commitment from 6-foot-2 wide receiver Radarious Jackson on Monday.
George MacIntyre was too.
MacIntyre and Jackson, in-state prospects from Nashville and Memphis respectively, are both top four players in Tennessee’s 2025 class. With MacIntyre being one of the quarterbacks in the class and the dynamic athleticsm and length that Jackson uses on the field, this could be a promising duo for the future of Tennessee football.
“The best in the state, stay in the state! Congrats @RadariousC can’t wait to bring this connection to Neyland,” MacIntyre wrote, throwing an orange emoji at the end of the tweet.
Jackson responded with, “Let’s go.”

There’s a big reason for MacIntyre’s excitement… Jackson is a baller on the football field.
With a 6-foot-2 frame and a basketball background helping influence his game on the gridiron, Jackson was named Class 3A Mr. Football in the state of Tennessee back in December after his junior season.
According to 247 Sports, Jackson racked up more than 1,800 total yards of offense during his junior season. 782 of those yards came from the running back position with nine touchdowns while 696 yards and 13 touchdowns came from the receiving position. To add to his all-around offensive mindset, Jackson also threw for 340 yards with seven touchdowns last season.
Maybe a Jauan Jennings-to-Josh Dobbs type of trick play coming in the future?
“Appears to have good play speed to outrun defenders in the open field in addition to above average run after catch and make you miss ability,” 247 national recruiting analyst Cooper Petagna wrote in an evaluation about Jackson in April. “Natural athlete that displays the versatility to be utilized in a variety of ways offensively and should develop seamlessly into the receiver position once he has the opportunity to embrace the position full-time.”
Jackson is one of two receivers in the class for MacIntyre so far, joining Joakim Dodson, a three-star receiver out of Collierville, TN.
