BLOUNTVILLE — Julianne Tipton blasted a two-run home run and pitched a complete game for Dobyns-Bennett’s softball team, eclipsing 500 strikeouts for her career.
Now at 508 after 14 Ks Tuesday night, Tipton led the Lady Indians past West Ridge 7-4.
Hailey Porter and Riley McMillan both drove in a pair of runs.
Kami Clark had an RBI triple for the Lady Wolves.

JOHNSON CITY — Kyleigh Bacon homered twice as part of a four-hit day for Daniel Boone. She also drove in four and scored four times.
Kaylea Osborne did not allow an earned run in three innings of work.
Lora Wilgus hit a pair of singles for the Lady Hilltoppers.

CHURCH HILL — Haley Russell hit a go-ahead single in the sixth that proved to be the difference for the Lady Falcons.
Sydney New had a pair of hits, including a solo home run in the second.
Alison Byrd homered and singled for the Lady Grizzlies.

ROGERSVILLE — Hadley Ward went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored for the Lady Chiefs.
Five different Cherokee hitters had multiple hits, while Kennedy Dishner tossed a complete game, striking out eight and not allowing a walk.
Mia Frankum had a triple and two runs scored for the Lady Lions.
Unicoi County 13, Sullivan East 6 (Game 1)
ERWIN — Kyndal Engle and Kaley Toney both collected three hits with one double for the Lady Devils while driving in a combined five runs. Faith Bennett (double), Katlyn Nelson (double, 4 RBIs) and Aaliyah Engle added two hits each. Toney fanned three in the first five innings.
Shelby Leffew and Carly Bradford both had two hits for the Lady Patriots.
Unicoi County 28, Sullivan East 10 (Game 2)
ERWIN — Kyndal Engle kept her momentum going as she went 4-for-5 with six RBIs and finished a triple shy of the cycle. She and Kynzie Jones (6 RBIs) both doubled twice. Kaley Toney (2-for-4) and Katlyn Nelson (3-for-5) both left the yard while Aaliyah Engle had three hits. Faith Bennett, Miley Woodward and Kylee Hensley all had two hits.
Shelby Leffew went 3-for-4 to lead the Lady Patriots, who got a home run from Jade Sanders (2-for-4)

BRISTOL, Va. — Taylor Childress racked up 17 strikeouts in a complete game for the Lady Trojans.

CLINCHPORT — Eden Muncy recorded 19 of her 21 outs via the strikeout for the Lady Eagles. She only allowed one hit and one earned run.
Battery-mate Gracie Turner tripled and homered, while Jasmine Stanley stole three bases.
Shay Henderson hit a solo home run for the Lady Raiders, the lone hit allowed by Muncy.

NICKELSVILLE — Makenzie Gillenwater threw a complete-game shutout for the Lady Titans, allowing just one hit and striking out 11. She also doubled twice as part of a three-hit game.

NORTON — Chloe Wells drilled a pair of solo home runs for the Lady Warriors, with Kaelyn Dales adding a two-run bomb.

COEBURN — Braelyn Hall struck out eight and pitched a one-hit shutout for the Lady Spartans, who scored seven runs in the fifth to end the game early.
Taylor Clay went 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored, while Emmaleigh Banks (double, 3 RBIs) and Maddie Compton collected two hits each.

BIG STONE GAP — Hailey Branscomb homered twice and drove in four runs for the Lady Falcons. Lauren Baker, Aubree Fullen and Kinley Brooks tallied three hits apiece while Mariah Branscomb fanned four in six innings to get the win.
Kynlee Johnson doubled twice with two RBIs for Union, and Braleigh Mullins hit 2-for-4.

CHURCH HILL — Connor Haynes had four hits, as well as three runs driven in and three runs scored for the Falcons.
Luke Armstrong went the full five innings on the mound, allowing just one earned run.

ELIZABETHTON — Jackson Buckles threw a complete game for the Cyclones, striking out 11 and not allowing an earned run.
Brayden Buckles tripled and drove in a pair of runs.
Darrin Carrier went 1-for-3 with a run scored for the Patriots.

RUTLEDGE — Bralynn Sell drove home Brayden Christian on a walk-off single for the Grizzlies.
Christian also started on the mound and struck out 10 across five innings of work.
Manning Brooks brought home two on a first-inning triple for the Chiefs.

GATE CITY — Porter Gobble doubled and homered to power the Trojans to the win.
Landon Odum got the win on the mound after six innings of allowing zero earned runs and recording five strikeouts.

BEN HUR — Jaron Wyatt doubled twice and drove in four runs for the Warriors.
Isaiah Bentley added a pair of doubles as part of a 3-for-4 game with four RBIs and three runs scored out of the ninth spot.
Clay Robbins and Nate Shelburn had the two hits for the Generals.

BIG STONE GAP — Jett Humphreys homered as part of a two-hit, four-RBI game for the Falcons.
Elijah Parks and Aiden Smith both hit a triple as the Falcons slugged six extra-base hits.
Cole Chandler hit a single and scored the Bears’ only run.

CLINCHPORT — Dawson Kern only allowed one unearned run in six innings for the Eagles, recording 10 strikeouts. He also had three hits and three RBIs.
Will Rollins added a two-run blast to left in the third inning.
Braylon McConnell doubled and scored a run for the Raiders.

NICKELSVILLE — Brayden Sawyer singled twice and drove in three runs for the Titans.
Xavier Sawyer added three hits (one double) and a pair of RBIs, as well as a complete game on the mound.

COEBURN — Adam Burke drove in four runs for the Spartans on three singles.
Keldan Hamilton went the distance on the mound, allowing just one earned run and no walks.
Xavier Sanders doubled and scored a run as part of a 2-for-3 day for the Blue Devils.

GRAY — Brogan McGhee scored twice for the Indians, who led just 1-0 at the half before adding two goals in the last 40 minutes. Gavin Farmer assisted McGhee’s first goal in the 30th minute, and Andy Cruz dished out the helper to McGhee in the 77th minute for the dagger. Eli Wallace had made it 2-0 in the 62nd minute on a Junsung Montanaro assist.
Ethan Cline made three saves for the Indians, who outshot Daniel Boone 23-5 overall and 13-3 on goal.
Samuel Randall made 10 stops for the Trailblazers.

BIG STONE GAP — Reyshawn Anderson scored twice for the Bears, who handed Abingdon their second Mountain 7 District loss. Brayden Wharton scored Union’s other goal while assisting Anderson once.
Keyshawn Anderson made 20 saves.

GREENEVILLE – Jude Dyer scored twice in a balanced effort by the Greene Devils. The other Greeneville goals came from Brody Inscore, Samuel Gourley, Liam Polte, Austin Beets, Cole Wilcox, Justin Banegas and Christian Banegas.

BRISTOL, Va. — Aubrey Smith scored on goal and assisted another to lead the Lady Blue Devils. Smith assisted Bekah Reid’s goal, with Georgia Griffis dishing out the other helper.
Erin Hensley and Avery Elam combined for the win in goal, Hensley making three saves and Elam two.
