The Tullahoma High School baseball team swept the Loudon Redskins in a Sectional Series double header on Thursday night to punch their ticket to the 2024 Class 3A State Tournament.

The Wildcats had dominating pitching performance, allowing just seven hits in 14 innings and just four runs. Evan Tomlin started for the ‘Cats in game one and went six innings striking out 10 batters. Ben Quick took the ball in the seventh with a 6-1 lead and finished the Redskins off. He struck out one batter and threw 20 pitches. Baylan Tuten started in game two and threw 4.1 innings. He allowed just two hits, struck out six and walked five. Mason Bratcher came into the game with the bases loaded in the fifth and got the two outs. The first out was a ground out that scored a run. After a wild pitch and walk, Bratcher got a pop out to keep the lead at 4-3. Hunter Hogan took the bump starting the sixth and finished the game. He gave up one hit and one walk in the seventh, but stranded the runners with a ground out to end the game.
