Allen senior Donnell Gee returned the season's opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown to start an onslaught of scoring for the Eagles on the way to a 61-0 victory over visiting Midland Legacy in the inaugural Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer Football Classic on Friday at Eagle Stadium.
Allen (1-0) dominated on both sides of the ball, tallying over 500 yards of total offense while the defense rendered just 209 yards to the visiting Rebels. The two teams squared off in a rematch of last season's regional semifinal during the Class 6A Division I playoffs, won by Allen 52-35.
