Ursuline came away with a state title at the TAPPS Golf State Championships at Squaw Valley Golf Club with a team score of 451. Ursuline edged Houston St. Agnes by just two strokes to win the championship.
Ursuline was led by Bella Scucchi, who finished first in the individual standings with a score of 73-34—107. Her score topped Plano John Paul II’s Gabriela Calce, who shot 75-33—108, by one stroke.
Ursuline’s Ella Dewitt (6T), Emma Anderson (8) and Heidi Chen (9T) also joined Scucchi in the championship effort as they each finished near the top the individual standings.
