Celina junior quarterback Bowe Bentley was named offensive player of the year on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 4A all-state football team.
It has been a busy offseason for Celina rising senior Bowe Bentley, and his summer now includes a trip to Los Angeles next month to participate in the Elite 11 Finals.
Bentley was selected as one of 20 finalists for the event, which features several of the top high school quarterbacks in the country for the Class of 2026. Now in its 26th year, the Elite 11 Finals will take place June 17-19 for three days of competition that will end with one signal-caller named MVP and 10 others as finalists.
