McKinney North advanced to the Class 5A Division I state semifinals for the first time since 2006. 

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, the road came to an end on Friday, as Aledo posted a 6-0 victory to complete a sweep of their best-of-3 series at Dallas Baptist University.
