“I saw him quite a bit at home games,” Ramos said. “I asked coach (Robert) Duncan if he was a senior, then I saw him a few more times. The thing that I like the most about him is that he knows how to pitch at this level.
“He can throw hard, but he does not have to throw hard. He was using curve balls; he would follow the catcher with the ball and that is what got my attention. If you look at him, he is tall, he is big, and I think with hard work I can get him to throw harder.”
