    Couple of weeks away!!!! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

    Tick...Tick...Tick...

    Get ya /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> ready!!!

Looks like a win and a loss

  3. Here's hoping for a packed gym. Who wins this game? Ashjan stated that the first team to reach 20 points wins. I tend to agree. Lets hear some opinions. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

From looking at past scores. What if neither makes it to 20.Who wins? Just kidding.Looks like JP2 scores more.So I pick them. 42-28

  4. Knoxville is an exception, not in Chattanooga, most schools follow the TSSAA and TMSAA...Knoxville has done well to be able to separate the two, and bypass the stupid middle school rule...

    D

If a girl in the 10th grade is hurt or bad grades cannot play for her team in the fall, and her grades are better or she recovers from the injury by spring, could she play for the boys team in the spring if she is good enough to make the team? Just wondering.

  5. I figured ya'll would win as well!!!! Ya'll have a good team and can't wait to see what ya'll got!!!! It should be a real good game!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

McEwen will probably beat NCS by 15 or more .

  6. Overall record, according to CoachT, is 4-2...not sure that this qualifies as "getting beat so often."

THEY HAVE PLAYED SOME PRETTY GOOD TEAMS.BUT THEY ALSO GOT BEAT BY A TEAM THAT IS NOT VERY GOOD AT ALL.I THINK THEY WILL BE AROUND LATER IN THE SEASON AND BEAT SOME GOOD TEAMS.JUST MY THOUGHTS.

  7. Probably not at least this season. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Is it true there are other new coaches in this division.Ensworth I see has a new coach.Any others?

  8. Looks like a lot of people have underestimated the way ECS is playing ball right now...me included. 42-38 final for Knoxville Webb. Congrats to the Evangelical Christian School girls for a heck of a job well done down the stretch at the end of the season. Great defense!

Briarcrest/Ensworth looked like the intriguing matchup to watch before-hand and still should be very good...could well be that everyone in attendance will get their money's worth all the way around.

Ensworth came from way behind to win 66-54.Great game by both teams

  9. Awesome win for your team....Congrats!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

GREAT WIN FOR O.S. SAW THEM ONE TIME LAST YEAR,GREAT COACH,PLAY WITH A LOT OF INTENSITY.BEAT A VERY VERY GOOD WEBB TEAM. SEE WHERE WEBB GOES TO ENSWORTH ON FRIDAY.GOOD CHANCE FOR NASHVILLE AREA FANS TO GO SEE THESE PLAYERS THAT ARE RANKED SO HIGH.GOOD LUCK TO ENSWORTH.AGAIN CONGTATS TO O.S ON A GREAT WIN.HOW IN THE WORLD DID THEY STOP THE TWO WEBB PLAYERS?mUST BE A LITTLE MAGIC IN THERE GYM.ALONG WITH THERE SUPER TEAM AND COACH.

  10. I have watched many games and it is very clear that some of the best players are trying to be taken out on purpose. If you look at most of the girls that got hurt over the last few years you will see that it is usually one of there best players.I agree with bapride that sometimes is is done trying to make-up for not being as good a player as others, without a doubt.

  11. For those who were lucky enough to see Matt Yelton's Lady Flames 2-0 win vs (former #1 ) Lindsey Wilson (Ky) it was a great game with a great crowd. The Lady Flames claimed their first win against Lindsey Wilson in a very convincing matter who are past National Champions. Congratulations to Matt and all the girls!

Anna Hill from Fairview is a freshman at Trevecca and has been seeing lots of playing time

  12. Ensworth is at Brentwood High School tonight at 7:00.

Should be a good game and if you haven't seen Emily Perkins for Ensworth play, come check her out. She is definitly one of the premier if not the premier player in Tennessee this year.

I agree grass kicker, saw her this summer .she is a complete player.

  13. QUOTE(Trojan Fan @ Apr 2 2007 - 04:21 PM) 826428383[/snapback]I know some Harding folks are uncomfortable with playing in the small division with their basketball typically pretty competitive at the higher level and volleyball ultra competitive and think that it will only last for 2 years. I think football is what got to them b/c they were in the middle division in football and may be worried about playing up....but seems like they had the choice if I heard right.

Ensworth will be playing up in all sports.I looked at there schedule for next year on tssaa in football. girls basketball team will be small but are very quick. if they play up-tempo they will be hard for most teams around here to beat

    there's no unofficial list

taca or tsca like it is now is the coaches all-state list

tswa is what the sports writers list

I just heard that the coaches picks just came out. Which I feel like will be a better list that the writers.

  15. Classless, bitter, jealous? wow, i'll take the high road. In my followup post I said good things about Becky. I've coached her girls in aau over the years and get along with her great. It was just an observation and nothing I wouldn't bug her about. As far as JPII schedule, They don't have to play Knox Webb but do. They try to schedule Brentwood academy twice but BA won't. Went to Memphis last year and played Briarcrest who went to the state. This saturday GPS comes to town who is best DII in chattanooga and went to the state last year. Throw in Harpeth Hall and Ryan twice. Will play a solid AAA team in Gallatin next week. Besides, JPII has gone to the state the past 2 years and will challenge again this year. If Beech, H'ville, etc would schedule, JPII would play them also.

How well will JP2 do in their district ?
