Great win tonight for the champs as they beat a top ten ranked team at Eagleville. You have to wonder though if Cascade can start winning on a consistent basis? Maybe they will do it at the right time which is tourney time.

Im not sure if this district is as week as you think. I think there may be alot more parity between the teams rather than weakness. I would take 8 AAA top three against 7 AAA top three anyday. I guess we will see come tourney time but Im betting two from 8AAA go to substate. Remember Shelbyville did beat Riverdale pretty good earlier in the season. Lincoln County is playing good ball, hopefully they will keep it up come tourney time.

Great post . Also to anyone who wants to bash the quarterback Corey Watson you have no clue what you are talking about. That kid is a ball player. He got knocked around alot tonight and that has not happened this year. Congrats to your defense on containing him and holding him to 9 yards rushing. Thats is absolutely amazing. I have not seen the owls play this year but corey watsons brother called me and said that you guys have a great team. If you can stop the run game of riverdale along with their running quarterback you should be in it till the end. No offense but it will be a very tough task to come into the boro and win at warrior field. Again congrats on your win sounds like you guys are the real deal.

No offense to what you have just stated but what do you mean if he lets marco? I would think he has to let Marco score if they are going to beat JBS. Its the playoffs you have to pull out all the stops to win now. On another note I am going to come to the game from m-boro what is the quickest route?

Iagree I am very proud of what this team has accomplished and if anybody can make a comeback its cascade. Im just going off what i have heard and if you cant stop them we cant comeback. Go champs pull it out.

How about Wayne county do they have a radio station team at the game? Cascade does not so I was just wondering. I talked to my uncle , he does the tv broadcasting for cascade and he said Cascade isnt takling anyone and wayne county has only attempted one pass. unbelievable that the defense hasnt adjusted from last week.

Seth if that comment was towards me im sorry you feel that way. I am a huge Cascade supporter. My dad coached at cascade for several year and you know who my grandfather is. If anyone took my comments as offensive im sorry. I was stating that the better team on the field the other night was Jo Byrns. I dont blame the loss soley on one player or a coach its a team effort and a team loss. I just feel that during the game we didnt make the proper adjustments we needed too. Its easy for me to sit here and say this and not be on the field so its an opinion. I think you guys will adjust fine this week in practice and get it done against Wayne County. I have nothing but love for Cascade I guess it was dissapointing to see you guys lose like that because your team is alot better than that. Enough about that game, work hard in practice and play hard and you will get another shot at jbs. Go Champs

I agree Tuck is a ball player. If he was bigger that boy would be playing division 1 ball. My hats off to the Jo Byrns defense and offense. Cascade I think the loss will be a big eye opener and also will motivate you more. Practice hard and smart and get back to your winning ways. Go Champs

No actually you are terrible. I am sitting here eating my crow yummy. Congrats Jo Byrns. My hat is off to ya guys. You guys are the pinnacle of region 5 football. I truly believe that Jo Byrns will win the state championship this year. Your running back and quarterback were great along with everyone else on your team. If cascade plays this bad on defense we will lose to Mt. Pleasant very badly. Jo Byrns had a great game plan and outcoached us all night. Marco Dailey will have a field day with our team if we dont learn how to adjust to things on defense. Anyhow congrats to both teams on a very successful season and good luck to all of region 5 in the playoffs.

What info did I post that is false? Quit going back and trying to have a rebutle to everything we post. And it is me that said we are jacked up. Just like Cascade 11 said im not in Adams watching your players either. Im not worried about what your team is doing this week. I just know how Cascade is approaching the game and it gives them a huge chance to win with the preperation they have done.

I think that is a good and fair assessment. i think if either team gets up 14-0 they win because neither team has been down by much. Maybe they react positively but if one gets up that much its a blow to the other team especially when the weather comes into play and is a major factor. Good post. Go Champs

Well Russel enjoy your win against CA this friday while we enjoy ours. Jo Byrns may beat us but it wont be near the beatdown you recieved. Maybe you guys can get off of a two game losing streak. Go Champs

Yeah lol thats true they have a "really nice" field prob doesnt take much to get it wet. LOL I guess maybe another reason they didnt have a problem was that the other team forgot to show up lol.

Besides the obvious with a wet field and wet ball, what are other things that may come into factor besides slowing down the speed of the runners, passing being alot more difficult? I think there will be the opprotunity for alot of turnovers. I hope its not raining during the game. It will be cold and wet not a great combination for bystanders, but I think the players on the field would enjoy the cold weather because well its football weather. Good luck to both teams. Agreed, I have heard alot of talk about if you stop him you can beat them. He is very dangerous just looking at his stats. He must have great blockers or he must e the next coming of Mike Vick lol. They will be a tough opponent for anyone as well.
