  1. QUOTE(dctigerfan07 @ Jan 24 2007 - 11:25 AM) 826344003[/snapback]

Who is going to nab mvp for district 7-AA this year? Im seeing either Dunn from LA or Upperman's point guard...#10 i think. Like the standings though, this is wide open. I think Bass from Dekalb should be in this discussion also.

Dunn is probably the front runner. Nixon for Smith County should be considered. According to the Tennessean website, Nixon is the number 2 scorer in the district behind Dunn and the number two 3 point shooter in the district behind Kemp of Macon. It seems that Nixon has to guard the top player for each team Smith County plays and gets very little rest. No stats that I'm aware of but I would bet that Nixon has more rebounds than Dunn. It is for MVP and not top scorer.

  2. Who has the best shot in 7AA this year? Not seen many shooters? However being a Bee Fan i will say that Upperman's best shooter (Ethan Christian) is on the bench with an injury. I'm sure some of you out there have seen him shoot the ball when he was younger. Anyways who can step back and fill it full??? Let me hear from ya..

Nixon from SC scored 30 at MC, 19 vs Trousdale, and 27 at Gordonsville last week. How do the others compare?

  3. 15 points???? Can we say overconfident.......

Tigers win by 8 at least maybe 16 if they are firing on all cylinders....

    Your answer for Dillard is?????.......

SC wins by 6. The team will be the answer for Dillard. SC held Pickett's top player to only 6 points. Gaines for White House scored I think 13 or 14 points on SC. Dillard is good but not as good as either of those two. SC will have to contain the rest of the team to win.

  4. What are both of these teams lookin like this year? is smith really good or somthin

SC will be better than some people expect. They lost to Pickett by about 35. However it was close until SC had to sub. They started a Sophomore and all subs were Fr. and Soph. Pickett wore the young boys out. If it wasn't for the turnovers made by these boys it would of been much closer. Pickett had to pull out of the press early because SC was breaking it consistently. Smith's 5' 11" point guard held Pickett's good post player to only 6 points. With the football players in the lineup now they will play White house closer but won't win.

  5. Yea, RBS was pretty weak. SC didnt play real good, but enough to win. We have played 2 scrimmages without 4 main players. A couple of underclassmen have played pretty well in the scrimmages so far.

Besides Sanders who are the other three main players in football?
