Riverside just lost to Scotts Hill in the District Championship, 4-2.
-
Ethan pitched 6 innings and game was tied 1-1. Riffle and Contreras pitched in the 7th and allowed 9 runs. Bats have been slow for Lexington as of late.

Prayers going out to the Gant family and the Riverside Baseball Team and Fans. What a great talent this young man had. My son played for Lexington and had the utmost respect for Stephen. From what I witnessed when he played, he was a very humble about the baseball abilities.
Sympathy from Lexington.

Out coached, out played, out smarted
I will agree with you. Page definitely did their homework. Congratulations to Page. Congratulations to Lexington on a great season, I hate it ended the way it did.

Sloppy play tonight by Lexington.
Kristopher Williams on the way to hospital, was injured in third quarter.

i know it's ridiculous when you have to look for a flag every single play!!!
Illegal procedure or holding!
-
GREAT for both teams!! Because it has not been very good all season.
Not sure how good they are. 18 penalties in the first half!

if the decision to change the venue goes through, you can bet that i will pen a very strong letter as well as call every number i and many others can find to voice our disapproval of such an action. Trezevant has earned the right to host this game. it has already been announced statewide that they would be hosting, and myself and several family and friends will be attending this game. it is, without a doubt, the biggest game in the history of the Trezevant football program. they have earned the right to play it at home, and now, all for the ALMIGHTY dollar, the TSSAA wants to strip a very worthy team of a home game in front of their fans.
I hope that MCS (Memphis City Schools) have the mindset to keep the game in Memphis for all the city fans. this game will be a great one for this school.
Coach Teli White has taken this program to heights not seen in this community in decades. They have earned this game at home.
I am a diehard Lexington fan but I agree with you. Trezant should be allowed to host this game. We have hosted 3 rounds and we would have been highly upset if they have moved our games to the opposing schools location. Let's just play ball and the fans will come! Good luck to both teams!

Someone sure takes coacht seriously.
Putting mine and LHS2012's coacht usernames on a pitchfork and sending it to us?
Haha, haters make us famous <3
Wow, why would you want to be famous for being trash talkers and arrogant! How proud you cousins must be of yourselves... And to come from such good families... I am guessing your mothers have not read your smart mouth posts!
-
Great job this year Bobcats.....and to the true Lexington fans.....good luck.....but to some of those loudmouth boasters....what have you done lately.....weakest trash talkers on the coach...but bark the loudest....man.. you better lay off the snoball...you are outgunned...outclassed...and in the outhouse....now snoball...i set the table...its yours
Thanks Bulldog! I assure you that all Lexington fans do not act like these yahoos. Coach Hollingsworth would not approve of these posts either. He is a class act.

Lexington wins 41-6. Congratulations to both teams on a great season! Have a safe trip back home.

I will agree with you that Coach Odle was a good assistant coach. The players did love him as an assistant. He is a good pitching coach, but he is not a great head coach. There was no jv program this year at all. The players who were not starters were used to get homerun balls and shag balls. You have to build for the future to make your program stronger. Thirty to thirty five players are taken every year with the understanding that there will be a jv program. The team usually dwindles down to about 15-20 before the season starts.
Hopefully the new coach will work more on building for the future.

I agree. It has been a long time coming!
