WHEN IT COMES TO SCIENCE HILL I THINK THEY HAVE THE BEST COACHING STAFF IN EAST TENNESSEE BAR NONE. COACH PRICE ALWAYS HAS HIS TEAM PREPARED. EVEN IF THE WRESTLER IS A FRESHMAN, SUCH AS MANY OF THE MORRISTOWN EAST AND WEST KIDS ARE, HE FINDS A WAY TO HAVE THEM READY FOR BIG MATCHES. PLUS HAVING SHELTON AND BOSKEN IN THE ROOM DOESNT HURT.

I know for an obsolute fact that the only thing he is trying to aruge now is did he withdraw from PjP before he was expelled. They sold their old house and move so that is not the issue.
If he can prove that he withdrew then the family can say due to their move it is no longer possible for them to get him to PjP and therefore he has to go to CHS and be allowed to wrestle.
This would be simular to someone moving across town and be force to change schools due to bus issues.
no it is not the same as moving across town. the kid stole highly expensive electronic equipment from other people and tried to sell it and got caught and booted. it makes me sick to know that people support him being able to compete after this. if it was anyone but coffe we would be outraged and side with him being unable to compete. are we in tennessee more concerned with making a name for our wrestling community on a national scene (assuming coffe will wrestle nationaly and he would probably do well) that we sacrifice our morals to make it happen? i like what bobby bowden once said, " its not about winning but winning the right way" the coaches at his new school should not allow him to compete better yet, instead of selling the house you should make him sit and watch what he is missing out on and make him see what a horrific thing he has done. if my son did this i would punish him not look for a way to squeak him out of a mess HE MADE.

I THINK WE ALL REMEMBER THOSE G'VILLE TEAMS THAT HAD AMAZING WRESTLERS BUT BELOW AVERAGE TEAMS. I REMEMBER MY SON GETTING TAKEN TO THE CLINIC MANY TIMES BY MR. WALKER HE STILL CALLS HIM THE BEST WRESTLER HE EVER FACED. BUT THIS POSSIBLE REGION CHAMP G'VILLE TEAM DIDNT BLOOM OVERNIGHT. I THINK ALOT OF RESPECT NEEDS TO BE GIVEN TO THE FEEDER PROGRAM.
AS FOR THE SUCCSESS OF THE OTHER MORRISTOWN TEAM THIS COMES TO NO SURPRISE TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE THAT FOLLOWS MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING IN MORRISTOWN. LINCION HEIGHTS AND WEST VIEW ARE THE FEEDERS TO WEST HIGH AND ARE ALWAYS FILL A TEAM WILL INSANE NUMBERS AND SOILD TALENT. AS FORMO-WEST BEING A MAJOR LATE SEASON CONTENDER THAT I WOULD NOT BANK ON JUST YET, ALTHUGH IN A YEAR OR SO AS THE YOUNG GUYS BEGIN TO GEL TOGETHER THEY WILL BE A FINE LOOKING TEAM.

130 LBS. WILL PLACE IN MY OPINION LOOKED VERY TOUGH.

THE 130 POUND MATCH WANT AS CLOSE AS THE SCORE WAS. MYERS DOMINATED ON HIS FEET BUT GOT IN A LOAD OF TROUBLE GETTING ON HIS BACK LATE IN THE SECOND...OTHER THAN THAT HE PRETTY MUCH HAD IT. AS FOR THE HEAVYWEIGHT MATCH TULL. WAS STALLING FROM MID SECOND PERIOUD ON.GOT HIT FOR STALL POINTS AND PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE GOT HIT AGAIN IN OVERTIME. G'VILLE LOOKED GOOD ALONG WITH CROCKETT AS WELL,TULLAHOMA LOOKED GOOD AT CERTAIN SPOTS THE THREE WERE REALLY THE CLASS OF THE DAY NO DOUBT.

WELL HE HAS SHOWN THAT HE LIKES TO TURN PROGRAMS AROUND I.E. DUKE AND SOUTH CAR. BUT A HIGH SCHOOL IS A STRETCH I BELIVE. CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG BUT I DONT BELIVE HE EVEN SHOWED UP TO THE STATIUM THE NIGHT THEY NAMED THE FEILD AFTER HIM.............SO WHY WOULD HE LEAVE THE SEC FOR THE HILL?

DB beat Morristown East by a score of 77-6
YOU COULD TELL WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT EAST WAS REALLY STAR STRUCK AGAINST D.B AND SCIENCE HILL. ME AND ALOT OF THE OTHER PARENTS THINK IT HAD TO DO WITH SOME OFF MAT DISTRACTIONS.NOT MAKING ANY EXCUSES D.B AND THE HILL ARE ALWAYS ERY TOUGH TEAMS.IT REALLY SHOWED WE ARE YOUNG AND HOPEFULLY THINGS WORK OUT SOON WHERE WE CAN GET FOCUSED AND BACK ON TRACK.

IF THEY ALLOW COURTNEY TO WRESTLE I THINK IT WILL BE A BAD DECISION ON THE PART OF TSSAA. LAST YEAR AT STATE DUALS A MEMBER OF THE GREENEVILLE TEAM WAS BOOTED FROM THE STATE TOURNAMENT OVER A BITING CALL THAT WAS VERY CONTRAVERSIAL. AFTER TSSAA SAW VIDEO EVIDENCE THAT THE GREENEVILLE WRESTLER DID NOT BITE THE OTHER COMPETITOR THEY STILL DEEMED HIM INELIGABLE FOR REGIONS AND STATE. JUST BECAUSE COURTNEY IS AN AMAZING ATHLETE SHOULD NOT MAKE HIM EXEMPT FROM THE RULES EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO FOLLOW. IF YOU LET HIM WRESTLE IT TELLS EVERY KID IN THE STATE THAT RULES ONLY APPLY TO THE AVERAGE ATHLETE AND NOT THE ELITE. AND FOR ALL THOSE ON THE MESSAGE BOARDS TRYING TO FIND A LOOP HOLE FOR HIM TO COMPETE SHOULD BE ASHAMED, MAKE HIM SLEEP IN THE BED HE MADE.

Can you tell me the steps to becoming a wrestling official? Is there a knowledge test, place to apply, and other information of that nature? My son used to wrestle for Morr East and he might be interested in filling some of your officials vacancies.
