I have been looking around. I have found several of their teams that they schedules. However, i would like to see them. I am hoping to move back to the area and would like to know who plays who. Specifically Lebanon, Lincoln County and White County.

Because it is the same ole same ole. No one cares about White County football. They are just there as a punching bag for Cookeville and the rest of the district.

When is spring ball? How many players are out? Who are the coaches and who coaches what? Any new coaches? Anty transfers (players)?

What all is going on with program? I hate being in Ohio and being out of the loop.

I had a friend call me this morning and informed me of some interesting news. Sam has apparently resigned as football coach at Upperman. Is this true? If so why? I had heard on trip back home that this was coming but due to reasons beyond what he has given to the general public.

If i am correct that means The Smith County coach is the only old region 4-2A coach that is coming back.

who is this his daddy or family member? It sure sounds like him. And besides Joslin does not take what is said on here very seriously. All he asks is that his players do not post crap on here. I played for him early in his days at CHS. He used to run the team to death until someone admitted who was posting on here.

On another note, since i don't live near Cookeville i am in the dark. Did any other teams make the playoffs or bowl games. I know Monterey used to be good.

If so who do they play. Is there a newspaper or anything i can look at to look at how things are going on there.

After looking at the CHS roster i am guessing that keenhill1 is Patrick Keener...if i was guessing.

W.C. has a good chance since it is the playoffs. There will be refs will not be that are not from Fayetteville, so it will be a fair game.

Historically in the past 5-8 years LC has not faired to well at home in the playoffs except for 2003 when they made it to the quarterfinals and lost to r'dale at the pit.

I would love to see a region 3-5A win but i am going with the visitors from 4-5A.

This will be really close. DC's defensive philosophy is blitz-man2man. Their corners are on an island and one kept getting burnt against UHS. Cannon will run more zone coverage. DC and Upperman run about the same offense, but defenses are extremely different and Up's D isn't as good (they controlled the ball a lot longer than DC but gave up 40 pts). Cannon has a good shot at winning and the added homecoming/senior nigh atmosphere could add a lot. I'd say Upperman's D steps up in the 4th and pulls it out 27-20 /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Wish I could be there to watch, should be good.

How do you know anything? You were not at the game so you don't have a clue. Stay were you are get on those schools boards. You don't even known the first thing about Upperman football this year. This is a different team and you are clueless. SO stay AWAY. FOr the record, DeKalb played both zone and man coverages against Upperman. Neither of which worked. The only reason that Upperman could not do more was because there OL coach did not prepare the OL for the DeKalb blitzes and it showed badly. The QB had no time all night and still threw for over 300 yards and managed 6 total TDs. Upperman would have won if anyone on their sideline could say the words kick it instead of go for two. Upperman is a better team than people are giving them credit. They have a chance in the next few weeks to prove that and they will. Those Seniors have no quit and want it more than anything to make the playoffs and shut people up. Their run starts Friday at Cannon. I am not saying that they will run well really throw all over them but it will be a good game with Upperman coming out on top.

things have changed since you left your attempt to coach at upperman. foster is no longer the d coordinator much less on staff. their defense is very simple and basic. no more madden playbook. for real you guys it used to be plays out of madden '05 playbook.

Your crazy, it always a packed house. There are about 6,000-7,500 people average for the home games. However, does Cleveland travel well don't l? If they the visitor stands could be open seating for all. I cannot wait for this game.

As funny as you think you are, its not really appropriate to make funny of an group of people like that. But i guess that what you do if you are a Smith County fan. Maybe you should be more worried about getting beat by a 1A Team with 15 players (or so) than posting stupid cramp on Coacht.com.

All these are good football players.There is another comes to mind Ty Fields of Upperman, he has already passed for 5000 yrds,and passed for over 2000 this year, what was so amazing he started the season 10 weeks after undergoing two acl replacements. I read the article in last weeks cookeville newspaper it sounds like he is one to watch. I know he has already visted U of Illinois during the fall and we saw him with the recruits coming out of the locker room at the UT Vandy game.

That's good to know they mail out ballots. I just don't understand how an average of 7 teams can make up a 12 man roster. This is an average. ii know there are flaws in every system but to the life of me I just can't understand the TFCA. Why do they even bother with an all-state team. I don't think that's the purpose of the association anyway. I can see Maryville,Alcoa, SP or any BCBS team with 2-3 players but the same schools make up theTFCA all state team every year. Go back and check it out.

You know maybe instead of getting on here and whining about it, you should do something about it. If it is really that big of a deal to you, present yourself to the TFCA and tell them how you feel. No one on here can do anything about YOUR issues with the all state team. Quit critizing this awards system for those that make and support them! If you want someone on the ballot, go talk to the coach about it or join the TNFCA (if you can). They do the best they can do with the nominations. The rest is up to coaches on voting. Obviously your coaches don't make the trip to the Boro to vote so if you are going to jump on someone jump on them. I quite frankly am tired of hearing you whine about this.

Are you jealous? York is an amazing team and they truly deserve to be 10-0; they played a great game. However, when a quarteback has no time to throw the ball and the line can't block to save their life, there isn't a lot he can do. Also, your fans need some class. Handing out flyers saying "Get on your knees bees...10-0" is truly tacky. Congrats to the dragons, but teach your fans some class.
