I think it would be more like ten out of ten. Huntingdon fans are possibly the most annoying people on CoachT this year, so at least yall come in first at something. But as for football, you fall short in comparison to the cats. I seriously think that many of the Huntingdon fans may be delusional or have serious brain damage because you have to be nuts to think yall are better than WC. good day

And with 55 seconds to go and the score 13-13, the scoreboard didn't indicate how bad WC had controlled the game.....cause we both know w/o 2 WC punt miscues and 2 phantom holding calls it was close to being ugly. Even with that said, Huntingdon was a really good team and prolly could have given SP a run for their money.

So, I just watched the game again and noticed a big reason SP got beat was their kicking game. I mean surely out of all the kids they have they can find someone to kick it deeper than 20 yds.

All I'm sayin is it wasn't WC that brought this up...I guarantee you those boys could care less about PC or anybody else cause they just finished with a 14-0 record and a state championship under their belt... To the boys on the team from WC. You guys made believers every week including me, I had my doubts at the beginning of the season but yall did what only yall do best and it's win. I was correct. We do play another brand of football. We are fun and gun. They are ground and pound. I said all week this would be a war. Wayne County was undefeated. You don't get to the title game without being good. For the record, that is how a state title game should be. Not a blowout. Within 14 points or less. Once again congrats to Wayne County. Hope your young guys work hard to replace those 17 seniors out there. They were a good bunch No sour grapes here. I admit they just beat us. We could not stop Rice on the qb keeper

The whole "Tucker/Rice" argument is debatable but justifiable. The team I support is 5A but I follow 1A and the other classes pretty heavily. I would take Tucker b/c I believe he could step in and run the veer just as effectively as A.Rice but I do not believe A.Rice to run the spread as effectively as Tucker. Those are just my personal opinions and they are speculative at best. However, if you break it down by skill, both are good runners although Tucker may be a tad bit faster (not sure) and I give Tucker the edge in passing although A.Rice is a fine passer as well. I am not saying I am right or wrong, this is just my perspective, there are many points that could be brought up in eithers case but it really doesnt matter, it a close call regardless what side you take. I am not going to debate this any further b/c this thread is/should be dedicated to WC winning state.....Congrats

Ok man, Tucker may run the spread better but I don't think there is a QB in the state at the 1A level that can run the veer like A. Rice. If you put Tucker in Austin's place today there is a good chance we lose. I mean the kid had 205 yards rushin at the QB position against South Pitt.. I mean I understand you have your own opinion but as far as the veer goes..you can't compare the two. If you don't believe me just ask the stats...lol 14-0...FEAR THE VEER

I give up... trying to keep up with this thread lol. Everytime I get on here it's atleast 20 more pages than before so I'm just ready to watch the game.

You better bring something more than this. I know the competition wasn't great though. Your big line someone talked about, well about half of them stand straight up and are very slow out of their stance. I'm trying to keep this in perspective. Sp knows they have to play very tough and 4 quarters of ball to win. We can't just show up and expect WC to roll over. Another thing to consider and I think it is a good point is what if this game is close? I doubt beside Huntingdon Wayne County has had any close games. How will they handle the pressure?

Well, actually the closest game we played all year was against mt. pleasant. They will handle it fine I think as someone stated earlier this group has been together for a LONG time..so I believe it will take more than a close game to get them rattled. The real question is how does SP respond if WC jumps up 2 scores right outta the gate. Not saying it will happen but anything is possible especially early in the game.

This thread is starting to sound alot like the Huntingdon thread..."WC plays a weak schedule and they don't have a chance" Just like I said that week if WC can minimize turnovers SP better watch out. And whoever said we shouldn't have beat Huntingdon is out of their freakin mind or just dont know football period. That game was real real close to gettin outta hand. I hear ya.. a few hours ago I was in the stands at the game. Now, I'm already wantin the next game to get here.

South Pitt has alot of respect for Wayne County. You are 13-0 for reason. South Pitt is a 12-2 team so we know we can and have been beaten. We had a tough and physical game tonight. We just hope to have enough healthy bodies to compete next week. Congrats to both teams for making the big show.

Agreed, from what I understand the refs stayed pretty busy at yalls game tonight. I hope it's not like that Friday for either team, and both teams play to their potential. I'm really looking forward to seeing yall guys play I have heard about SP constantly over the years but have yet to see them play in person. How far of a drive is it for the SP fans?

Everybody is going to rep their own school. It's not disrespect, it's just being a fan of your school. Yall are making believers every week. Wayne Co. has one more team to make believers out of. This Huntingdon fan is behind yall 100%, made a believer out of me last week.

I understand that fans will rep their schools regardless of the situation but to say that a 13-0 team might as well not make the trip, well thats a bit of a stretch. So after reading the SP Gordonsville thread, one must assume that SP already has it in the bag. I mean I understand that SP is a really really good team, but my question is what does WC have to do to get some respect. I mean everybody said yall cant beat huntingdon and that game got real close to gettin outta hand. It's the same every week we play anyone that is capable of competing. IMO 13-0 is nothin to shrug at but honestly I like being the underdogs. Either way win or lose I believe WC will surprise some people next Friday. GO CATS

WC's defense has played lights out all year and if they can do it one more time I like our chances. Our offense seems hit or miss at times just like tonight they were def. missing in the first half then in the 3rd it looked like a different ball team. GO CATS
