  1. I work with a Madisonville youth coach (parent) who claims there is an assistant coach at Auburn who just recently bought property in Tellico because he plans on retiring in 5 or 6 years. Upon hearing that you guys had a head coaching job open he turned in a resume. My friend told me that AD Gregory showed him the letter of recomendation signed by Tommy Tubberville and the resume that had Sly Croom(Miss State) Houston Nutt(Arkansas now Ole Miss) and Bobby Johnson (Vandy) as references. Anybody know of this?

You are exactly correct, you can also add to that list of references, Mickey Andrews defensive coordinator at Fla State and Steve Sloan an ex SEC QB and Athletic Director. He was ready to accept the position, but Mike Lowery, Tim Blankenship and Dean Williams said they couldn't hire him(all of McCorkles references were checked by Gregory and Moser and allof them gave him glowing recommendations) None of Satterfields last jobs were even called!. These three didn't even know where McCorkle was from! The The only thing McCorkle had asked for was if the booster club could help with moving! This would have been a done deal and all the kids in Monroe County and even the region the Chiefs played in could have benefited from this mans contacts. The pressure came from that football mecca hot bed in Vonore to hire Satterfield. Some of these guys may very well get to meet Bryant Gumball (sp) of between the lines on HBO, they are interested in doing a story. I sure hope and pray they do, it would serve the community well to know how this EXACTLY went down. Some of you can say lets just move on, that is fine when it comes to the kids but the people involved need to be removed from office and those who applied the pressure also exposed so nothing like this ever happens again to the kids of Monroe County. This has nothing to do with Satterfield he has a good credentials also its just in this horse race with McCorkle it was never close until the race was fixed. That is what everyone is so upset about and rightfully so. The Advocate Democrat pole on whether this hire was done correctly read the last time I looked at it was 81% against the way it was done and 14% for the way it was done 4% undecided. In the court of public opinion that is pretty much what you would say a landslide! Add to that most people don't even know half the story, YET!

  2. everyone is very proud of every young man who showed up this morning to lift weights, keep your heads up and continue to work hard and it will pay off. please do not let the comments of a few people bring the entire team down, some of the comments made on here show where their hearts really lie, it is not with the team, it is with theirself. (hint, hint redchief)

Again what ever the kids do I will support them 100 % but I will not sweep under the rug what Mike Lowery, Tim Blankenship, and Dean williams did to these kids. You are trying to confuse two totally different issuses

  3. I am also very proud of the stand that the boys took last Thursday (although my son was away at UT Camp). It's very unusual for a group of teenagers to stick together as a team to support the coaches that they trusted, respected and considered part of their football family, instead of worrying about "what will the new coach, the parents and the administration think of ME, if I go along with the group". My son had phone calls and texts all weekend from teammates, "adopted" dads and ex-coaches from most of the sports he has played. And then there were all the differing newspaper articles and even the TV news report. He was so confused by Saturday night that he didn't even want to talk about it any more. Last night was decision time: go to weightlifting this morning and meet with Coach Satterfield or explore other options. Several phone calls and texts from his closest teammates late last night (during my "I think this is what you should do speech") helped him make the choice to continue at Sequoyah. Thank you to the parents of these boys (and you know who you are) for helping them make the decision to go back as a group.

The boys met with Coach Satterfield after weightlifting this morning and, to his credit, Coach told them that he respected them for their actions last Thursday. My son says he seems like a good guy. Coach asked them to help get some of the other players to return. This seems like a rather tall order for an almost 16 year old, but he has already made some calls because he believes it's for the good of the TEAM.

I am still very angry about the way things went down last week. These young men should never been put in a position to have to make these decisions at their age. I can only hope that the School Board will review every aspect of the staffing of coaches for the entire County, so that nothing like this ever tears apart any athletic team again.

I am extremely proud of the boys who went back this morning and hope that most of the others will follow. This team made so much progress last year and I have faith that they will come out of this adversity with a renewed hunger to show that they will win (alot!!) or lose on the field based upon their own REUNITED efforts, using what they learned last year and the additional knowledge that they will hopefully be given this year.

Time to focus on beating those Cats. GO CHIEFS!

You might also want to know that he (Satterfield) told all the coaches that resigned he respected them for standing up for what they believe and then went into the locker room and trashed the coaches to the kids even called them quitters. Ask the paper guy at the advocate he heard it all.

The School board doesn't need to have "anything" to do with hiring nor or they suppose to. Dean Williams is as responsible for this hire as anybody had his nose in it the entire way. Your exactly correct none of these kids should have been in this position and none of them would have had it not been for a certain few who REFUSED to let the system work.

All true, was excited and ready to accept the job, (the ONLY thing he had ask for was if the booster club could help with moving) could have been a done deal until our football geniuses of that football hotbed mecca in Vonore, got in the ear of our Director of Schools Mike Lying Lowry , hatchetman Tim Blankenship, and board member Dean Williams ( all good Ole Vonore boys) decided they would take it in there own hands to shaft the kids and the rest of the community. You guys may not like it but that is exactly what happened, Stupid is Stupid does Forrest gump could have even figured this one out, but no,, we will get it our way. Well the only positive thing from this is it will be the very LAST coach that will ever be rammed down anyones throat from Vonore, also on that resume was Mickey Andrews (defensive coordinator Florida State ) and Steve Sloan former Athletic director and SEC QB from Cleveland TN, and we go hire a guy coaching basketball yep makes perfect sense to everyone in Vonore, Duhhhhhh! You guys are the laughing stock of the free world. I heard HBO was coming!!! You deserve every second of the attention you are going to get from this now and years to come.

  5. I would like to leave a message for the Sequoyah Football Players, and this is from experience of some folks I know. Everyone I have ever talked to who said they didnt play their senior years for one reason or another, absolutely regretted the decision. Men, from what I know and have read, Coach Satterfield had no idea of what the board members were up to, he simply thought he was being hired by the folks who do the hiring. From what I hear and seen last season, the men of Sequoyah have been molded into a good football team and was expecting to make some noise this season, I would hope you guys come back and Make The Noise, do in for your new coach, your old coach, yourself and for everyone of your brothers out there on the field of battle. Do not go through life wonder "what if". Take some time and do the right thing. I'll pray for every football player who have struggled with their decision. God Bless and Go Chiefs!

I enjoy reading your post they for the most part are filled with wisdom that only comes with life experience but Coach Satterfield DID know exactly how this went down and who was behind it, as he was told by each and every coach out there as he interviewed them BEFORE he accepted the job. No he new the ENTIRE story from beginning to end. then the next thing you know is,,,,, he not only is Head coach but also the now AD. Only 12 hours after Lowery had told all those kids that converged on him at the board meeting that you could not be AD and head coach since the kids wanted then AD Gregory. Coach Gregory resigned ONLY after he was told he would be removed as AD.

  6. A little update: Coach has added coach Berrong to his staff and had discussions with another one yesterday. Do not know a name or how it went. Also, his son Marcus is a college assistant and is contacting some people on the college level and trying to help assemble the staff. Just an idea, but I think the coaches or just the commissioners of both leagues should meet with coach just as they did with coach Summey. Maybe set up a time at Bert's or somewhere and get to know him and also let him know what the youth leagues expect of him. I know when he was at Greenback he was seen at almost every game on Saturday's. It will be harder to do with two programs instead of one, but I honestly think he will show great support for both programs.

More solid information the same kind you and your Buds were feeding Oak Grove and Dean Williams. The kids will make up there minds as what is best to do for them. I for one will support them either way. I have been told that several of the kids think its is ironic that several have got on here and hammered the kids about doing the right thing and play. They are not pleased that it is most of the same group that worked the backroom politics with Mike Lowery and Dean Williams to screw the entire school. Hypocrites that work the system, cheat , lie and make deals and then they want THEM to do the right thing. As hard as you try and just move on Kevin, these kids and many many more will never ever forget it .

  7. You all are the only ones who have organized a political party and tried to have influence on the hire and you want to accuse everyone else of making a political hire! Sounds like you guys who are against Satterfield have organized yourselves one big political group and are really dissappointed that your party lost. I havent heard anyone who is not on your side being just for any one of the candidates. Everybody else just has an opinion. You guys got your little group up and tried to manipulate things again instead of just sitting back and letting the administration do what they feel like needed to be done. If I was in there position and had heard as much as they appearantly have, Id feel like it was time for me to step in too. Sequoyah has been in turmoil since Kerley left and the "daddy coaches" got involved in the hiring process. I dont dissagree with the hire. (If it is Satterfield--still waiting on official word) You all act like this is the end of the world. You forget, Coach Satterfield is a good coach with a winning record who is local and not likely to abandon ship. Lets see how it goes. You just might be surprised by how much you like him. Lets come together and support our kids and team by supporting whatever decision is made on who is head coach.

    GO CHIEFS!

Who are you speaking about in this political party? As usual you are lying. Again it is not about being against Satterfield. What candidates???? There was only ever one candidate. This was a total sham job by Lowery, Blankenship, and Lap Dog Dean Williams. It's coming out, some of you can be REAL proud.

  8. I never said I have spoken with the Director. I said I have talked with someone from Oak Grove. I was told more people were talked to from both communities. If this didn't happen, it should have.

You have told people you and PJ had met with Lowry. They were not talked to ( the Madisonville folks), he even refused to meet with them, You got what you want Kevin, How you will ever look this kids in the eyes, and they all know or will know the truth as this comes out. Who told you people in Madisonville were talked too ? You were lied to,,, that never happened. Tell you something else Lowery only met with Mccorkle for ten minutes(then he told people(board members) false informatio about his bio that he was fed from Vonore ( fact :YOU), and as of yesterday he didn't even know where McCorkcle was from( really did his homework). By the way you might want to know PJ,,,, Lowery is telling everyone you were calling him.SUPRIZE SUPRIZE!!! You guys still feel important?????????????? Well you will wear this badge for ever. I don't feel sorry for you one bit.

  9. One of the main jobs that the Director of Schools has is hiring and firing of personnel. It is NOT the job of the school board, principal, athletic director, booster club president, assistant coaches, or any "daddy" coaches!! It is the Director of Schools job and nobody elses!!

    Good luck Coach Satterfield

That is totally false. At 99% of the schools , AD makes recommendation, principal takes recommendation to Director and he signs off on it. If that is true why did he not hire the boys basketball coach, baseball coach, girls basket ball coach???? Lowery had ZERO INPUT!! now all of a sudden he is going to hire a football coach, by his own admission he knows nothing about hiring a coach and this was heard by a room full of people! Yesterday morning the principal was told to hire who they wanted. They make the call (Moser), have the appointment set up with the coach to hire him, then later yesterday they get the call from Lowery that Bill Satterfield will be the announced today at 9:00 am, they(Moser) have to call the other guy back and tell them what has happened. Satterfield was third on the list, THIRD! Lowery and Blankenship(hatchet man) had been pressuring Moser all week to hire Satterfield, they had figured he would cave in, Moser never did. All the time Lowery is telling Moser it will be his decision, Lowery told that( it would be Moser's decision) to board members and parents. Lowery told a parent emphatically yesterday morning that Moser would be allowed to make the decision. The assistant coaches decisions to resign was not about Satterfield, had nothing to do with Satterfield at all. It is about the way it was handled and until someone cares enough to stand up for doing the right thing it will never change. You also have a school board member in that continues to try and punish Mr. Moser for what he considers an injustice to his son years ago. How many kids in Monroe have to pay a price for this board members vendetta. This decision to hire Satterfield had absolutely NOTHING to do with the kids, the facts will bare that out. People will understand what has been done. Happy PJ?????? How many games have you won at Vonore????? and your giving counsel to get a coach hired. Same old Sequoyah.....

  10. Dont shut the thread DOWN just shut red chief UP! Hes the one throwing all the negative comments and false accusations. Everyone else is just stating there opinions.

I know what I know, if you look back I havent ran people down just stated facts and have not made false accusations. , I have no agenda as many on here do. That definatley means you and everybody knows how you are. I have a feeling the kids are going to get screwed again. It will all come out this time.

  11. I agree with you but Im not the one pushing Gregory and Moser to hire a piticular coach. You should talk to your pal red chief about that. Hes the one thats in contact with "oak grove". Seems to me that hes the one trying to force his idea on them.

    GO CHIEFS

How Am I trying to force anything on anyone????????? I have said before and Will say it again if Satterfield was the most qualified that has applied then that would be great. In this particular case he just simply is not. It has nothing to do with "personal preference". You and some others might have to read that real slow. It is solely about the best qualified. I for the life of me can't see what makes that so hard. If you will look at this with out any emotional attachment and just hiring the most qualified candidate you have, it jumps at you. Everyone sees that but a few and those few don't seem to care about looking at the issues without personal preference involved. I just want Mr Moser and Coach Gregory to be allowed to do there job. It really doesn't matter a hill of beans what I think, I wasn't at the interviews, I haven't spoke with references, or been a part of the hiring process and neither have any of you. I just want the system to work like it is suppose to and hire the most qualified for the job.

  12. What is best for the kids? Would it be best for the kids to have another coach who is just passing through or to have a coach that plans on staying? Would these coach prospects from out of town stay for years or would they just use this as a stepping stone. No one, not even the coach prospects themselves, knows if they would like this area or if they would be miserable here and immediately start looking for something else. It seems to me that it would be better to have a quality coach with ties in a this community or at least nearby so he doesnt just run on to the next oppertunity. What this program needs, more than anything, is stability. The fact that Coach Satterfield stayed in Greenback for so long as a coach and still (I think) lives in the area says a lot about his likelyhood of staying. Do we just want the connection to the SEC for this one year or do we want the program to be successfull for years to come. I dont want to just have a good year and then be right back in this situation next year. I want the best for this year and years to come.

    PS

What makes your opinion so much more accurate as to what is best for the kid(s).

The point is if you compare these candidates and look at them without "preconceived " desires or wants there is no comparison. So you want to hire a guy based on where he lives?????? Your reaching for straws here. Just like DevilsAdvocate = SID lying about Gregory and the letter signed by the kids, lying to Lowery that one of the candidates had been at 10 schools in 10 years( this came straight out of Lowery's mouth on two different occasions, it will all come out Kevin.) When in fact he has been at 3 schools in 8 years. So you bring out your crystal ball and believe the better candidate should not be hired because at some point he might leave??? You think he should not be hired because he has connections to the SEC????? The man has property close buy and grandkids. He wants to be close to them and give his wife that opportunity. The program does need stability but you are not going to get it by hiring someone because of some past experience you had or where they live, or because they "might" stay. You will get stability by hiring the most qualified guy. The Vonore gang are beating there drums for a guy that may be a very good coach but in this case just does not measure up. You can slice it and dice it any way you want but that is just the simple truth. If Satterfield were the best applicant they had I would have absolutely no problem with it.

  13. But RedChief, you didn't answer his first question...You didn't tell us who you are. It's obvious you're someone on the inside or with a great deal of interest in this program. All of your posts make is sound as though you have a lot invested in it. It all really makes for very interesting reading.

I have access to information at Oak Grove. I will remain anonymous for now. I have a lot invested in this community. I just want the powers to be to make decisions on what is best for the kids and not certain special interest groups.

  14. RED CHIEF why don't you come out of the closet and tell everyone who u r? How can u say he has never been in demand when the only year he has not coached was last year. The school that he is at now is in the process of building a football stadium and starting a football team. I wonder who they intend on coaching the team???? Just to let u know, I have not one time called over to OAK GROVE RD to offer my input. Mr. Lowery has called me to ask what people r saying around Vonore, and I only tell him what I hear. I do not believe that this is a crime.

If he were as a great a coach as you and some of your buddies seem to think in a 20 year coaching span there would have been upward movement in his coaching career. Someone would have came knocking and he would have to answer. Greenback is not a bad place but even you would have to admit they do not have a great deal of resources to throw at someone if they had too. By your own admission his last two jobs are going to be starting programs from scratch. Not exactly the kind of jobs that a coach with a lot of options would take. In fact it would have to be in most logical circles seen as a last resort to just be employed. I am sure there are a lot of people that have a vested interest in that Lowery will call YOU but want even return there phone calls and you think this is not politically motivated? have you been out to Oak Grove? PJ the truth will all come out on this one because people are fed up and you have got yourself in the middle of a mess(maybe not intentionally). If they hire Satterfield based on who the other applicants are it will go down as one of the biggest debacles this County has seen in a long time. There will be no defending the defenseless. Too much has been said and too many lies told. I am not trying to be over dramatic here, but there are going to be some people that will never be looked at the same. They best enjoy there few minutes of fame. Then they can go look all those kids in the eyes and tell them how much they care about them, they will never ever forget what some have done to them, they just want and deserve a chance, unfortunately because of a selfish few they may not get it. I don't care about anything else you are involved in, what I am talking about it this issue. If you will just look at it unemotionally and think about it. PJ I know in your heart you will agree with me......The right thing needs to be done and it isn't plain and simple. NO MORE POLITICAL HIRES please!

  15. I dont need a friend or someone to pal around with. I need a coach that will make my boy the best football player he can be. Maybe the reason he didnt get along with parents and some of the others is that he couldnt be manipulated. If hes a good coach and doesnt seem to be just passing through, he just might be what we need. Just a thought.

Notice I didnt say anything negative. Ive turned over a new leaf.

There are people out there that will take those maybe's for this or maybe for that and give you the truth. Truth that will be collaborated by others. So "maybe" you should take some of them up on there offer.

  16. You know it is weird that some people can here bad things about a person and when I ask around I here nothing but good things. Bottomline is he is proved himself a winner in high school football. A person familiar to winning would be a good guide to get us where we need to be. I don't know if he is the best candidate for the job, but he is the best that has been mentioned on here.

A winner against hand picked weak competition. He has never been in demand!!!!! Has tried to get the Seq. job 4 times now????? He can't even find a football coaching job now and they(the Vonore boys) think he should be hired over a guy that has been a college head coach 3 times and currently is in the coaching ranks in college. I mean what part can't you guys see about that??? I tell you why is because you don't want to, you just want what you want regardless of the collateral damage. It should always be about the kids. If you get your way on this,,, in my eyes and a whole community of other people's eyes Those of you involved, those of you that have run over to Lowery and told him lies and misled him, those of you ringing the phone off the hook you will never be looked at the same. Like you said if you talk to different people you hear different things. Like EVERYONE I talk to can't believe Satterfield is even in the top 3 Except for the same old tired bunch that rammed Summey down everyones throats and we all know how that turned out, this will not be any better if that hand full of people have there way. Sad

  17. Unless you know for sure that slobber knocker is who u think it is than I do not appreciate the comment that you have made about our little league program at Vonore. I am pretty sure that I coach with the person that u think is slobber knocker. That is taking a direct hit at me because I am the commissioner at Vonore and in charge of who coaches our little league teams. I am the one in charge of our offensive plays, and yes their r some yrs that we pass the ball more than we run it. It all depends on what type of players we have. I am not a coach that believes that you can run a certain offense every year no matter what. In my opinion you need to evaluate tallent and adjust your offense to meet your tallent. You also need to check in on Coach Satterfield's career. He is just 2 yrs removed from making the playoffs at Grace Christian Academy in only their 2nd year of ever having a football team, a team he started from scratch. The man NEVER(did u get that....NEVER) had a losing record at Greenback in 20 years coaching there. He has beat the likes of McMinn Central,Tellico, Meigs, Sweetwater and so on and so on. I think that's pretty impressive for a single A school. To say that Coach Satterfield has had his day is just not right and in my opinion disrespectful to Coach Satterfield.

    PJ McKee

Yeah he made the playoffs with a what 4 and 6 or was it 3 and 7 record? Why was he let go from Grace after to doing such a wonderfull job? If you look back at that record at GreenBack his schedule was filled with very bad teams. One year they went 9-1 and the ten teams they played had won something like a total of 14 games COMBINED! He pretty much always played a very soft schedule. If he was such a hot commodity how come no one stole him from Greenback???? He has a reputaion of being very hard to get along with. There are people in Greenback that had prayed that every time the Sequoyah job came open that he would get the job. I mean he is not even coaching football now, he is coaching basketball, Now that is being in real demand. Like a guy told me the other day he(SATTERFIELD) couldn't even get an interview at the places that one of the applicants for the Sequoyah job has been,,,, but you guys want what you want regardless of what it does to the kids. Evidently it easier for that crowd to sit back B@#ch and moan than sweat and work ,,,it is all about EGO,sound familiar?????. It appears that you Vonore guys want to live in the past, you get your nose bent out of shape about Ronnie and the VERY SAME GROUP that rang the phones off the wall at oak grove for Summey are at it again. You guys are absolutley killing the kids with all this Vonore BS, LET IT GO!!!! You got some guys over there that think they are football Gurus and want to get there nose in it and all they do is show there ignorance buy struting around with there tail feathers stuck all out. I think Black And Gold was exactly correct how many of you Vonore guys are at work days???????? I don't carE if you work or not, if you got kids or not, or if you coach or not so DO A LOT OF PEOPLE!!!!! BUT THEY DON'T USE IT AS EXCUSES! All those guys sitting around over at Vick's blowing smoke about what they know and what they would do..... NONE of them EVER show up to work or try and do something positive they just sit around and b@#ch. And these are they guys that are wearing the Superintendents ear out. Well if you guys screw this hire up it will be on you all forever, People will never forget it....

  18. The hiring of a coach is really tricky especially at a school nobody really wants to come to right now. Why would you want to come to a place where coaches do not get to finish what they start. I know one thing for sure if torseq and red chief is routing for somebody than I think that will probably be a bad hire. If the principal is in on the hiring of a coach if they do not do well he should be held accountable, as well as the AD if he misses on a new coach he should be held responsible. That is part of their job and if they don't do it correctly there should be a consequence. Too say Coach Summey was a bad hire, I don't think we will ever know the answer to that question. He was tough on the kids and they were starting to play tougher. If he could have stuck around they would of had the toughest team that SQHS has had in a while, maybe not the best, but tough.

Are there any other candidates or is it that after one interview RED CHIEF has found his man.

Thats right I do all the hiring and firing. It should be the principal and AD that "Get" to hire who they want. It hasn't been that way in the past. What it boils down to is anybody that disagrees with you is wrong. I don't care who they hire as long as it is left up to the principal and AD and not left up to yahoo's like you , foreal,SID,RWB,etc etc. You people with your personal agenda's, it was never about the kids and with you guys never will be. For some of you it was about YOUR kid.

I think there may have been 4 or 5 interviews so far. I have no preference just let them hire who "they" (principal and AD) feel is the best man for the job. Not some lame political reason.

  19. On the old thread and before I started posting, I was trying to figure out who you were and it really threw me off when you said that you didnt have any kids and, in fact, had never even been married. Now I find out that you have appearently enjoyed the wonderful experience of having grandkids. You cant have grandkids without having kids or at least being married. You have no right to criticize anyone for hiding behind a screen name.

I dont care if they get a young coach or an old coach as long as they get a good coach who will not be manipulated by the same people who have ran things for the past few years. A coach who is compitant AND confident AND strong enough to stand on his own. A coach who will do the right thing to win games AND bring fun back to the game of football.

I dont think Gregory does the hiring for Sequoyah, but if he does, I hope he does hire the best person for the job and not just another puppet like the last two.

    GO CHIEFS!

Listen closely grasshopper. I never said I had grandchildren, I simply asked if anyone had, that "they" might understand why a man might want to get closer to them( grandkids). That in no way indicates I have grandkids. Nice to know you are so keyed in on my post. I also remember that conversation(RWB),, imagine that! I hide behind a screen name to "try" and bring accurate information to this discussion, not to slander people and promote my selfish agenda. Let me guess the right thing to have done to have won more games would have been to have utilized your kid and your friends kid more. There is a very small group of you and your friends that the next coach want have to put up with.

What same people manipulated and ran things? Again sorry about baseball and all "your" plans.

For a person in your field I wouldn't think spell check would be necessary but, oh well.

  20. I wasn't talking necessarily about the on the field product. I was talking about the revolving coaching door and all the drama that surrounds your program. Everyone in vonore and madisonville should be embarrased, because due to the media everyone in East TN IS LAUGHING. And that, my friend, makes you the laughing stock.

I hope that Sequoyah can find those players a fine coach. The administration and powers that be have failed time and time again. Sometime there failure has been not trying to keep the good coaches. Maybe we should let some of the players decide, since the adults have messed it up.

I can't disagree with much of that. Politics should play no part in the hiring of "any" teacher. The school board will tell you that it is none of there business(talking out of both sides of there mouths) when in the past they have been in it up to there necks along with the superintendents. Mr Moser has been made the fall guy with people being pushed down his throat. I just hope and pray that surely someone has learned a lesson. Think of the kids first and don't worry about covering your ######

  21. This guy may be the best high school coach in America. But we obviously can't know that can we based on the visible evidence.

But can't we try to get one on the way up, instead of one obviously on the way down?

And UWA, UTM, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Kentucky??? Can we find a coach somewhere that has ever had a sniff of a winning program?

    Just food for thought.

Look the visible evidence is the man has to have several things going for him to be even considered to run a college program 3 different times. He was the recruiting coordinator for ALL sports at Kentucky. How can you say he is on the way down? Based on what? I will promise you the school he is at now has had more than a sniff of winning, way more. Most of us could only hope to have our past employer say the things about us that they say about him. Sometimes peoples priority's change and things in life take on a different meaning. College football is a 80 hours a week, 50 weeks a year job. Do any of you have the wonderful experience of have grandkids? That alone can change things dramatically in your life. What if you had a wife that had followed you willingly to all of your stops in your coaching career and supported you 100 %. Maybe just maybe you might want to give her something you felt she deserved. I trust Gregory, he will hire the best man

  22. Sounds like a good one to me! hummmmmmmmm /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Sorry you didn't get the Sequoyah job when you applied. I think most would agree that when you can even "get" an interview at "any" of the colleges this man has been and is currently at then it might be appropriate or somewhat qualify you to comment on whether or not he is a "good one to me" or not. If you have a dictionary look up ###### envy. If the words are too large you will find it right beside your picture. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  23. His name is Sam McCorkle. He coached at West Alabama from 1985-1990 and again from 2004-2005. His record there was 24-62-2. He also coached at UT-Martin for 2 1/2 years. His record there was 5-25. He has coached at 10

different places in the last 12 years.

Did you read the post at all????? That is a lot of class.
